Love Sushi

What happened? I was excited to try this restaurant and it has great reviews. Even someone in my network recommended it. We tried a lunch service today.I ordered the salmon roll box. The server was struggling with English so there was a bit of a language barrier. She made several mistakes with drink orders, order accuracy, and checking on us.The menus are poorly designed, offering "boxes"/lunch specials with no real description of what comes with it. I couldn't eat one of the dishes and had no idea it came with that component. Combine this with the language issues..The salmon roll was NASTY! I've had sushi probably 100 times with no issue. The fish cut was very gnarly, it was fatty and had a bad consistency. It was so bad I was gagging trying to eat it. Hardly any rice, just a bunch of a bad cut of salmon.I didn't send it back to save face with my guests. I asked for extra ginger and got almost none. Again, she never checked on us.

Love Sushi is an intimate, quiet little restaurant with great food and service! Our food came out quickly and was very fresh. The staff is super friendly and the food is delicious. All of their food is reasonably priced and their sushi tastes better than some of the more expensive restaurants in Greenville.

The atmosphere here is always friendly, the staff is great, and the owners make you feel at home. Food is top notch, lots of variety including rolls, hibachi and poke bowls.I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Finally a great sushi place close and within walking distance for me in 5 Forks on woodruff and route 14. I was skeptical when I saw the restaurant pop up by Hungry Howies but when I walked in immediately noticed it was the owner of my previous go-to, Sushi Asa. Very nice to see her and staff open a new place close. I got take out and it was as good or better than Asa. Can't wait to dine in next trip.

NOT safe for food allergies.Small restaurant, but very kind people. Everything was fine except their knowledge of gluten-free. Before ordering, I asked if they had GF soy sauce, and they said yes. Therefore, I ordered a Rainbow Roll. I asked for more GF soy sauce, and she handed me another container. I asked if it was GF, and she had no idea what I meant. After calling over the young man who originally answered me "Yes", we discovered that none of them knew soy sauce had wheat in it, and they in fact did not have GF soy sauce. I drove home to eat it with my own GF soy sauce, only to discover they added imitation crab to the roll (which was NOT listed on the menu for a rainbow roll). Imitation crab is not only a cheaper version of meat than I paid for, but it is made from wheat. ‍They were kind throughout the whole process (I never called and told themabout the crab), but either way, this place is not safe for food allergies.

Always VERY good! Attractive family owner operation. Nice atmosphere too! Best sushi spot on this end of town by far!

First visit and we will definitely be coming back! Susan and Ryan, the owners, are amazing and make you feel like part of the family immediately! Sushi was so fresh, they were accommodating to creating special rolls- ask for the BK roll, and just an overall amazing experience! Great little find and would definitely recommend!

Great people! Food is always good and portions are consistently above others. One of our favorites.

I wasn't going to get anything but sashimi, but their menu was diverse and appealing, so I ordered an entree and an appetizer. Portions of all were small but very fresh and flavorful. Sushi seemed to be smaller portions but definitely the freshest I've had in a long time. Service was excellent server was not hurried or preoccupied. Ginger dressing was phenomenal. It was fresh and had a hint of lemon. Very friendly staff. Expensive but worth it!
