Lou Lou's Seafood

We had been hearing good things about Lou-Lou's, so we gave it a try tonight. So very glad we did! While there isn't a lot of room for seating, (maybe room for 10-12) but the food more than makes up for it. We were promptly greeted, and Lou-Lou so kindly explained the ordering process. She is a sweetheart.I ordered the Shrimp Po' Boy, with hushpuppies and sweet tea. My husband ordered the Whiting plate, with Brussel's sprouts, hushpuppies and sausage and sweet tea. Listen....BEST hushpuppies I've ever eaten in my life...and I have been around a while. My sandwich had 6 large/jumbo shrimp and they were fresh and delicious. The remoulade sauce really enhanced the flavors. The sprouts were so scrumptious, as was the whiting. All the food was piping hot. Do yourself a favor, and have dinner there. The website has the hours wrong. They are closed on Sundays AND Mondays.

For my appetizer, I had the green mussels and garlic bread, which were incredibly delicious. For my main entrée, I had the blackened flounder with the crab macaroni and cheese. The flounder was incredibly tasty and delicious. The crab Mac and cheese was completely legit. All the portions were quite sizable for the price. The strawberry cobbler was so damn good. Anytime I'm in Lexington, this will be my go-to spot for good seafood.

Amazing!! I don't even have words! Do yourself a favor and go!!!Not getting seafood anywhere else and in Lexington! Crazy.

If you're looking for a satisfying and flavorful meal that'll hit the spot, this is your place. We stopped here while we were on the way to Charlotte and were extremely satisfied!! Definitely going to be a regular stop whenever we're on the road because it was that good.The menu has plenty of options so it's almost hard to choose but the prices are great too so try everything! You can get a variety of fish cooked in different ways, there is many different sides, vegetable options, rice fried with crab, shrimp, or lobster, and crab, shrimp, lobster, and regular mac. We got fried whiting with a side of mac and asparagus along with crab mac and crab fried rice. The portions were great and we didn't even finish everything. The fish was fried well and it was so crispy and seasoned. The rice and mac were also very seasoned- everything was. You could tell they care about the quality and taste of the food. The staff was very kind and made sure we were good. I wish they had a location in Raleigh because this place is a gem.

Love this place. The seafood is amazing but I also love the garlic parm wings. The chef is always there and she is the best.

The food was perfectly seasoned, had the closest reminder of a louisiana boil. The service was great seemed like a family Resturant and they were very happy to answer any questions my girlfriend had about the menus options. The restaurant as a hole was small and mostly made up of the kitchen little for setting. We sat on the bench outside in September and it was nice. Will definitely be coming back again.

Great meal! Fried oysters, snow crab legs, Brussel sprouts and yellow rice. Friendly staff and very well priced. We will definitely be back!!!

I was reminded of being at the coast. There are some games and things posted to read while you wait. Small area to dine in, but most people do take out. My family and I chose to eat in and they were attentive. Great food!

The food is great and the service is genuine. They really do care about their business and customers.

Very good food. Better than red lobster and close to home . The owners are super nice ! We get take out for home on occasion.
