I love this little cafe. It's a great addition to the Uptown community. The cafe is named after the owner's (Ayesha, I believe her name is) grandmother. Very wholesome. Great staff, location, menu, and merch! I actually bought a cap from here very early on when they first opened. The setup is very favorable with indoor and outside seating. I've noticed customers have decided this is a good location for remote working.I dined back in October 2024 and ordered the Hugo Hash for breakfast. It was hustling and bustling by the time I walked in so I did have to wait. That was expected. My expectations were met. It was a good portion of food, savory, and met all the flavors I was looking forward to. It's a great location for those in nearby hotels to stop by. They even have a separate rewards card for persons who live in the Uptown neighborhood. I'll be back of course.

Such a cute spot in Uptown. Truly a gorgeous space. The large windows give it so much light. A perfect place for breakfast and teleworking. They have a short breakfast menu but it feels like they cover all the bases. I got the SEC bagel, which was good. I would've loved some kind of seasoning in the sausage though. There was a sauce on the side that paired really well and added some flavor. The raspberry latte was your standard, meaning delicious. They got my coffee and food out relatively quickly. All in all, the space, coffee, food, and service are decent and worth a visit.

My latte was so good and comforting. It wasn't overly sweet and the coffee was really good. I really think it's a must try however I was not a huge fan of the breakfast sandwich it was something you can probably make better at home but the ambiance is perfect for a coffee date, meeting, or relaxing work day. The service was ok basic pleasantries. This place is worth the try if you're looking for a cozy coffee shop.

Great service and great atmosphere for remote work or meet up with a friend. They have local merchandise available for sale as well. Great way to support Charlotte in one stop.

Lottie's Cafe is a delightful little gem nestled in the heart of the city. The cozy atmosphere, coupled with exceptional service, makes it the perfect spot for a leisurely breakfast with friends, reading, or studying. Service was exceptional! The staff was kind and welcoming... and recommendations spot on! The food was delicious. The light, flavorful options were exactly what we were craving. From the coffee to the hash, every dish was a hit. The thoughtful touch of providing pup cups for our furry friends was an unexpected bonus.Overall, Lottie's Cafe is a must-visit for anyone seeking a charming and delicious breakfast experience.

This is a nice quaint coffee shop in the center formerly known as EpiCenter of Charlotte. It's on the first level and is very close to the street next to the valet drop off area. It has lots of beverage options and a limited menu of small meals and pastries. The food was good. My sandwich came out piping hot. That was very welcoming. This is a close knit family run business and this happens to be their second location. The other location was in Kannapolis. In addition to breakfast sandwiches, they have beverages and other items for purchase. They sell "Charlotte" themed merchandise such as sweatshirts, hats and bags. Parking is still tough. You'll likely have to park in the deck. So be careful and pay attention. I saw a homeless man laying on a bench a few shops down and a few sketchy looking people as I got on/off the elevator. Just pay attention.

I checked out the coffee scene in Charlotte and I was not disappointed. Lottie's is a Black-owned cafe located in uptown. The caffeine options are awesome! My fave was the Iced Airplane Latte, which comes with cookie butter and a whole biscoff cookie! I tried Hugo's Hash and added red pepper flakes. This was my fave food item. I also tried the Deluxe Avo Toast. I liked that Hugo Hash was made with fresh sliced avocado in comparison to the Deluxe Avo, which was made with already mashed avocado. There is a lot of space to do work. They sell really cute gear and the seats were really comfortable.

I ABSOLUTELY loved this place! Me and a friend stopped by here to catch up and journal and i just loved the whole experience. The music was great, the staff super welcoming and informative, and the space super light and airy! I loved the decor and how open the space is. I didn't get a chance to try any of the food, but I did get the airplane latte with oat milk, which is a Biscoff cookie latte, and it was so delicious! Highly recommend and can't wait to return!

Interior was very well done with plenty of space and beautiful natural lighting. The bagel sandwich was good, the coffee was okay, but the setting and service was awesome. Also, this place is priced really well! Huge plus for not overcharging!

Great drinks, beautiful ambience. Typical of Charlotte it is tough to find parking, but once you do, this is located in a great place to explore uptown. My daughter and I both ordered Hugo's hash , but it just did not seem fresh or as complete as the menu photo. The menu photo depicted a full avocado and a lot of potatoes and the plate of food had less than that. All told for 2 drinks and 2 hashes we paid over $50 and left hungry.
