Food was amazing I had a black bean burger with fries Seasoned too perfection Everyone can't make those but this was wonderfully made .. with love if I had too sayIt's rather a small place inside but it's still a vibe The service was amazing as well

The service is fast and cordial. It appears to be a family-owned and operated. The restaurant offers indoor and shaded outdoor seating. There are beautiful fiddle-leaf plants everywhere. Now, for the food. The food was fresh hot and made to order. The fries were flavorful and fried just right. The gyro which should have been the star of the show was lackluster in flavor. The gyro lamb/beef was sparse and bland. For nearly $20 for lunch, I was disappointed. 3.5 stars

I if I could give 0 stars I would! My first time & last time there. I walked in it was empty & I took a seat at a booth. A worker walks over to my dirty table & I ask if she could clean it. She ignored me & asked if I needed a menu, I said yes. She said the menu is at the front & I said ok. I received a text from family about some bad news. I started to reply to the text & she stomps back to my dirty table & yells at me to "leave now!" Confused & I stood up & just walked out. This is my personal experience so maybe she would've been nice if the place was full? I'm not going to places where the staff treats you bad if one's looking. It takes seconds to send a text, what's the rush?

A nice, small lunch spot. My order was taken quickly, with friendly and courteous service. Now let me tell you about that grilled chicken sandwich. It was hot and seasoned very well, along with the French fries. Definitely going back here. If you haven't had a chance to go, GO! You won't be disappointed!

This review is overdue. Leaving the courthouse on Friday, 02-10-23, I stopped by your get a small order to go to take back with me to work. If I had time, I would've dined in. I instantly fell in love with all of the tropical plants. I ordered the Greek fries, baklava, and a cherry drink. I enjoyed everything. The staff was pleasant. I'm not in the area often, but I need to return to try more Greek food. I usually only have it at the Greek festival.

This small cafe is the perfect spot to grab lunch if your in the go. I stopped here to grab a sandwich and it was good! The service was quick and friendly and the prices were definitely affordable. Everything on the menu was under $10 so I will be back. I also got my food pretty quickly. Make sure you go before 12 or the line will be out the door because it's across from the courthouse! I ordered the club sandwich it was very good! If you love ICE this is the spot for it! Lol

This is a really affordable lunch place in the Uptown. The food is great and the service is fast and friendly. I highly recommend it if you have jury duty or if you're near the courthouse or the jail in the Uptown.

Lunch in downtown, Yelp brought me here. I love a donner kebab (we call it a gyro) and LVG has 'em. A nice sized lunch crowd from the courthouse and the police department but the line moves quickly. Lamb/beef gyro with extra meat for me. I watched it sliced off the donner and onto the pita bread that had been warmed on the grill. Some onions, some tomato, a scoop of tzatziki and then topped with a couple of fries. Oh, my. I did eat some of the fries and some of the pita, but not too much. Just delicious.There is a soda fountain, iced tea and a cooler with cans/bottles.I'm not sure I would recommend the tzatziki if you're going to be in close quarters with fellow humans. Tucked away in the sleepier part of Uptown Charlotte, across the street from the courthouse and surrounded by older government buildings, seemingly worlds away from the hustle of the banks you will find Little Village Grill. They serve up Greek-American fare from gyros to burgers and subs, and let's not forget the classic Greek fries! There was a meme going around about how gyro restaurants always serve the best fries and it's something I have always thought but never vocalized but it is so true. The restaurant is modest in size and you order at the counter. Lines tend to form but they move along quickly and turn out food pretty efficiently. They have plenty of indoor seating but I prefer to sit outside on their patio provided the weather is nice. It is a bit of a walk from my office but definitely worth it. They have somehow managed to maintain status as a Charlotte classic yet because of their location I think they are a bit off the radar. If you are an Uptown office worker you should definitely make the journey.

Nearly always a line at lunch time because the food is always fresh and well-prepared. The service is fast and the Club Sandwich is probably the best in the Uptown area. Wish they still had the location on West Trade.
