Little Mama's

I booked Little Mama's for a business dinner of 35 people. When I arrived 15mins prior to our dinner reservation everything was set up and ready to go. The space was perfect for our group. The waiters/waitresses were extremely accomodating and knew their jobs well. The food was delicious and the portions were massive. It was a very enjoyable evening.

Fred is wonderful.This is my favorite place that i've eaten at since moving to Charlotte a few months ago. Everything was absolutely amazing. We ordered quite a few things--the chicken parm and eggplant parm combo (which came with a side of spaghetti), the italian sausage ravioli, and the infamous penne alla vodka. It's hard to rank everything we tried because there wasn't a single thing we didnt like. However, what stood out the most was surprisingly the eggplant parm, even my boyfriend (who is usually not a fan of the dish) agreed that it was the best out of everything we ordered. Coming in a very close second was the penne alla vodka. Wow. The sauce was absolute perfection. As for the service, our server Fred was fantastic. When we told him that we were celebrating our anniversary, he was so excited and said "let Fred take care of you." Needless to say he most certainly did. After our meal, he brought out a cannoli with two candles, which was very sweet.

We came here for a date night and were waited by a nice waiter who knew his job very well. To start, we got the Fior di Latte accompanied by Roasted Sicilian Peppers from the Mozzarella Bar and I was a bit disappointed by the dryness of the mozzarella, but the accompaniment was amazing! We also got the Caesar Salad which was a solid 10/10. For dinner, I got the Penne alla Vodka with Radiatore pasta and the pasta was cooked very well but I wish there was more sauce since it was a bit dry for my liking.This is my go to Italian place here so I'm hoping next time will be my usual experience here, which is a 5/5.

Food is always amazing. Favorite Italian place in Charlotte! The service is always stellar, make sure we are satisfied. Don't be afraid to ask for more bread! The ambience is good, it can feel a bit small but very romantic and it sets a great mood. I got the Caesar's salad, fior di latte with roasted Sicilian red peppers for appetizers.The cocktail was an amazing manhattanFor my entree I got the chicken riggies but subbed for radiator pasta. It was truly amazing! I look forward to going back

We had reservations for a party of 9 last week and we were so glad that we ended up picking Little Mama's for dinner. Our server was super friendly and informative about the menu. We all started with the complimentary bread basket which was fabulous and a few of us ordered the fresh Caesar salad as an appetizer. Almost everyone at the table ordered the pasta with vodka sauce. Some added chicken and said it was great while others substituted the penne pasta for fresh pasta. I loved the radiatore style fresh pasta with the vodka sauce. All of our dishes came out hot and were fresh! Overall a great night and I look forward to coming back again!

Food was so good I forgot to take a pic!! I ordered the chicken parmigiana...so good! Service was great. I've also been here for brunch which was also really good. Family style Italian dining with an authentic Italian vibe. Yesss

One of the best Italian restaurants I been to!First of all the restaurant offer family style entrees and pasta which we ordered a family size pasta as a party of 3 and we are all so full after, the vodka sauce is creamy, flavorful and got a little kick in the back. The meatballs with the fresh maz cheese on top is tender and saucey. The bread are fresh and delicious too.Service was friendly and attentive, the ambience and environment of the restaurant is great, peaceful and nice. Will definitely come again!

There were a few things we liked about Little Mama's. The place is nicely decorated, plenty of parking, and the service was excellent!Unfortunately the Italian dishes were merely average I upgraded to fresh pasta but it was cooked al dente. The past was a bit too chewy. The Tuscan salad was very good but the bread not so much.

Little Mama's is probably my favorite date night spot. It's romantically lit, intimate, and the FOOD is seriously to die for. My husband and I went for our dating anniversary where we started with an appetizer, he got a salad, and we both got pasta dishes. Our server basically guided me through what her favorites were and her recommendations were superb. We will definitely be back again!

A couple of weeks back, we enjoyed a meal at the bar. However, my husband ordered a crab cake with pasta, and it appeared it had been dropped! The owner answered my Google review (with a photo), with a reply -- glad you liked our new version of the crab cake, roasted rather than fried. Because I cannot reply to the owner's response, I am re-posting my review here. And hopefully, we can discuss whether the crab cake delivered to us (for $33) was a mess or the real thing. Karla A.
