Lenoir Golf Club

Course overall was nice, greens were decently maintained and had some fun challenging holes. The worst part about this course though is the management, we had issues with both the Pro Shop guy named Eddie and apparently the owner who's only objective in life is to drive around his course and yell obscenities at people. We had a larger group visiting from out of town and saw this was an open public course, we scheduled a tee time earlier on in the week and arrived right on time. Immediately Eddie began saying how we were going to have issues since he had a group of 16 behind us and we were already late. After that the course owner stopped us on the 2nd hole to yell at us about our cooler and reiterate rules we had already been told upon our arrival. I should've known it was going to be weird day after that with another surprise visit from the owner on hole 6 as he wanted to cuss us out about driving on the greens(we stayed clear of the green and kept mostly to the cart path as it was a little soggy that day). Had more issues from Eddie when we informed him we were going to grab some snacks and more drinks before starting the back 9, he stated if we stopped playing we'd "loose our spot"? Overall I enjoyed the course but due to the staff/management interactions, I highly suggest avoiding this course for future visitors to the area.

Not great that's for sure. We have played at lots of courses in the area and this one is not on our top 10... or even 100. There is another one down the road that is much nicer and prettier. Cedar Rock.

Course is always In great condition. Just joined as a member and love it....especially the back bar

The Course is in good shape greens were great having a good time we came from mooresville we try to hit a different course a few times a month and do a rating for a few golf websites and magazines we are both single digits we maid the turn and were told we had to wait because two groups were having a hot dog or something and we were in the middle of a member Guest and either Wait or un his words get the F off the course and he cursed us out a few times we thought it was a starter or grounds keeper it was the owner now we called to make the reservation and was given a 12.10 tee time bye the guy in the pro shop who said we have a tournament but we can get you out at 12.10 we ended up playing the front again but seriously we drove over a hour paid our money and almost got into a fight with the owner and the minute he realized I was from the north he got aggressive all we wanted to do was play a round of golf we fix our ball marks fix our divots and play fast and if you look at other reviews it seems its not the first time so don't waste your time or money
