LeMans Karting Greenville - Spartanburg

I attended a corporate event at LeMans Karting recently. The photos are pre-event so I could show the facility before we took it over. The new Lemans location is amazing. The track is huge and the Karts are fast and well maintained. Whoever took over their old spot definitely needs to take a lesson from the real LeMans karting.Everything about the facility is top notch. The waiting area is spacious with plenty of things to do while you wait for your turn to race. They also definitely know how to put on corporate events. They're well organized and the food is always fantastic. The prices are really good frr what you get. The staff do everything to make your event successful.Overall, Lemans is a super fun and highly professional, clean and well-maintained facility. Staff is terrific and maintains a safe racing environment unlike some other places I have visited. I highly recommend this place. It's not just for big events. Individual race it was super fun. Be sure to call ahead and see if they have any specials going on.

Checked this place out this week, 14 months after I got a gift card in 2017. Quite a good fit for the adrenaline junkie on the family. We had a great time even though having one of the two tracks closed when we arrived. Facility is spacious and clean and the personnel were friendly and knowledgeable. Instructional video had some tongue in cheek humor. The staff moved others runs around so my friend and we could get the track to ourselves. I did 2 ten minute sessions. After the first, the small of my back was rubbed raw. I then found out they had foam pads to cushion your back when I asked. Advice for maximum fun; use engine braking and minimize the breaks. Highly recommended,

I was disappointed that spectators can only see you racing from a distance if you choose Track 2. Only Track 1 is visible up close from the viewing area. An observation deck with access to both tracks would be a great addition.Lots of fun that will keep you amped up and wobbly legged afterwards! And you will sweat, so be prepared. Get the Triple Play and save $5 with your Yelp check in!

Great karting place run by racing enthusiasts!

Had a blast on this track. The karts are fast, the turns are tight, the staff is very helpful. Came on a Wed and was pleasantly surprised that my friend and I had seven other drivers there to race against. I was wondering with it being a mid week day that we might not have other people to race but it was so much fun seeing those other people there. Don't forget the print out of your score sheet at the end and if you haven't been before, you will have to watch the 10 min safety video. Its not too boring though so thats cool lol.

I'm not much of a karting type but I've been dragged here a few times by my spouse and always have way more fun than expected. The people who work here are super friendly and they keep the place very clean. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a reputable local place for karting.

I've been a racing nut since Gran Turismo 1 came out, and constantly need to get my adrenaline "fix" on 4 wheels. These aren't your typical balloon playland karts, these are proper karts that demand racing know-how to get around the track for a good time. Yes, you actually have to use the pedal on the left to set good lap times!The staff are MORE than friendly, from everything to easily signing up, to casual kart-talk. Greenville is extremely fortunate to have such a proficient karting facility. Before, my friends and I had to travel to Charlotte or Mooresville to kart, now it's conveniently down the road (and next to an amazing BBQ joint).

Greenville needed this !!Lemans Karting is an indoor track for Go Karting at Greenville, South Carolina. The track is professionally managed with proper instructors and support staff and in a very controlled environment. The track has a no contact rule and beginners are welcome.You can roll with your buddies and compete with them on basis of lap timing.A great place to satisfy your hunger for speed.

Came to visit a friend in Greenville, SC and we went to visit LeMan's Karting. The facility is very nice. Upon entry we walk into a big open lobby with high ceiling. The staff greets you from behind the counter to the right and there are about 4 computers setup for sign-in. I like the spaciousness of the lobby and I enjoy all the racing memorabilias.I noticed there is an upstair loft that said Escape Room. I've heard of this before. This is where you and a group of your friends can be locked in a single room and you have to find clues in order to escape the room within a given time frame. I thought that was a nice alternative in case there are those who don't care to race go karts.The loft over looks the race track and the lobby below. It's a nice hang out place for groups of people for a party or a private event. I enjoyed watching the people race. The best part is there is no fumes. I fully expected the indoor facility to have poor exhaust, but I'm pleasantly surprised to find that is not the case. When you are inside the lobby area, you can't detect any fumes from the karts. On the track you can see there are 2 giant fans and big open garage doors to exhaust the fumes. In watching the racers, I was also surprised how fast the karts can go and I was told there are no governors in the karts. I can see why people can get really into this for the adrenaline rush. I elected to just hang back and watch.The only draw back to this place is there is no food offering. But they do allow you to bring outside food so you can take a break between races and get some food in you then go back out again. From that stand point, it is a plus since you are not limited to eating their food. Since this was the first time for me, I was not prepared. I will be next time. It's so nice to have something like this in Greenville since there is not much to do in town other than hikes and more hikes. LOL. It's a nice break to the slow pace.

So sad to hear it's closed! Had a wonderful experience there taking our 8 & 11 granddaughter and grandson. They offered two engine options which enabled us to tailor the experience for them. I hope they get it going again.
