Legion Brewing West Morehead

After a pleasant morning of exploring some new parts of Charlotte, I stopped here for a refreshing adult beverage. Legion doesn't have a huge parking lot but they have a huge seating area, both inside and outside. The outside seating has a few televisions so that you can stay tuned in to the sports matches while you're getting your drinks.The wings and the burgers all look great but today was a simple stop for the beer. I enjoyed two of their Penguin Pilsner beers, which I found clean, crisp and hoppy. Delicious while I sat at the bar with my laptop and caught up on some emails.Legion has a comfortable, family-friendly vibe. Beer-always good. Legion has some of my fav charlotte brews. Ambiance- love the outdoor patio when it's warm and we feel like we can bring our baby here without bothering anyone.Food-this location doesn't have the best menu, I prefer the SouthPark location for food. My chicken wrap was just okay. Maybe I didn't order the right thing? We will be back and I'll try again

A lunch visit to the brewery how can you go wrong with some delicious brews and good food?We came in a little before noon and right as we came in we were seated the whole time our service was awesome so you really couldn't go wrong asking their friendly staff anything!We ordered a flight to start with a bit of everything that sounded good and unique of them for me it was all about the Hot Fuzz a jalapeño peach sour and let me say it had a vibe to it while I didn't find it hot I found it quite yummy and super flavorful as I really do love the element of some spice in a good brew as it just adds so much to it!For lunch I just ordered your standard burger and let me say it was yummy cooked perfectly and it was just simple as you could really taste each of the elements in each bite which I do love a simple burger from time to time as it really can go a long way when done right just like they are doing here!The real thing that stood out to me was their homemade pickles those were totally good as they had an awesome and unique flavor to them while still being your standard pickle at the same time definitely don't overlook them and get some extras you'll be happy you did!Overall this was a cool brewery with lots of different choices as well as a fun vibe it's for that I would totally enjoy coming back here again if I was in the area!

Brews, pizza, and quality time--yes, yes, and yes! I had lunch at Legion way back in their early Wesley Heights days, but this recent trip reminded me why I need to visit more often. The pizza... y'all, the pizza. Dare I say it's one of my Charlotte favorites? While there's plenty on the menu, I think I'll stick with pizza moving forward--it's just that good.We also tried the wings and Brussels sprouts. The wings had amazing flavor, but the sprouts could've used just a bit more cook time. Overall, a solid meal.

The menu change is quite regularly, which is a bonus as the food is always filling full of flavor and you can't be pairing it with that perfect beer or select selection. The service is always on point and they always have four bag of contents outside in the warmer months definitely a place to try and hang out after work before work or on the weekends. You're definitely gonna have a great time, and leave full without emptying your wallet.

Had a great sit at the bar. Quiet evening, Tuesday. Bartender very helpful with beer descriptions. Enjoyed the Tiny Dancer, Irish Stout and Hop Chiller. With so much menu real estate dedicated to wood-fired pizza, had to do it. Had the Wise Guy. Never cut pizza with scissors before. Delicious! Internet access helped me catch up from a busy, traveling work day! I'll be back! Thank you!

New menu drop 7/12/24! We split the meatballs, prosciutto melon salad, and lamb tacos. Everything was so good, but the lamb was especially outstanding. Don't forget the peach tiramisu!

Do not go away without trying perfectly cooked wood fired pizzas, salads and delicious craft beer ranging from sours to IPAs- really something for everyone- wine included. Also, be sure to Enjoy the good ice cream this pizzeria offers. Lots of GF options if that is your preference but we love gluten! You can listen to live music in the evening.The staff is attentive. The nice service is a great plus of Legion. When you enter this place, you feel the friendly atmosphere. Awesome outdoor seating area complete with TVs and corn hole.

First time at this location and it was nice! The outdoor seating area is huge and the inside is light and airy. Service was good and the food was solid. The pretzel was gigantic and the beer cheese was top notch - the tables favorite order for sure. The brisket cheese dip was also pretty good. We were not impressed with the brisket and bbq itself. The burger was really good and big! Lots of parking available as well.

We had a fantastic Saturday afternoon at Legion Brewing. A more relaxing spot than the Plaza Midwood location with way better food and service. The burrata salad was delicious and unexpected at a brewery. Skip the other locations, you won't regret driving to W. Morehead.
