Came in to Le Peep for breakfast. Friend recommended this place and said the food was really good. Walked in, we were greeted and got seated right away. The young girl helping us out was welcoming and friendly. The ambiance here id relaxed and casual. Our server greeted us and took our oder for drinks. Drinks were served and our order was taken for breakfast. DRINKSCinnamon roll latte Serving size was generous and pleasing to the eye. It was topped with thick whip cream and sprinkled with cinnamon. Latte was ok, it was lacking on cinnamon roll taste.House CoffeeWould have preferred it a bit hotter. FOODEIGHTEEN WHEELER $13.50Two slices of our challah bread French toast, two eggs, and a choice of two strips of bacon or two sausage links.Served with Peasant Potatoes or GritsLUMBERJACK BREAKFAST $13.50Two plain handspun pancakes, two eggs, and a Choice of two strips of bacon or two sausage links. Served with Peasant Potatoes or Grits. (Make it flavored pancakes).Eggs were ok, a bit runny on the whites for my liking. Bacon was ok. Potatoes needed some seasoning, they were just ok. Pancakes just ok, not sure whether handspun means.FRENCH TOAST $9.50Our challah bread dipped in a rich custard batter, grilled to golden perfection and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Served with your choice of Mom's Sassy Apples, blueberry sauce, or strawberry sauceTry it CrunchyFrench toast was ok, a bit undercooked in the middle. Added fresh strawberries and blueberries, however, they were out of blueberries. CHICKEN AND WAFFLES $14.00Belgian waffles topped with crispy chicken tenders sprinkled with powdered sugar and a drizzle of sriracha honey sauce. Waffles were a bit undercooked in the middle. Chicken was good and juicy with a crispy outer layer.1 star for good service 1 star for quick seating

This was my second time at this place and I have to say for a second time I was very disappointed. The pancakes were just garbage, no fluff to them at all, when you cut into them the fork just pushes through to the plate. I traded them for waffles and this were only slightly better. The place itself is nice, clean and the staff was very friendly, but the fact that people love this place is beyond me.

I've lived about ten minutes from Le Peep for a couple of years now. Based on the reviews, I've stayed away from the restaurant. The day I went, I was not disappointed. I ordered the carrot cake pancakes, chicken and waffles, and the salmon wrap. Everything ordered was delicious. My husband enjoyed his wrap, and I enjoyed my chicken and waffles. The chicken was well seasoned and crispy. The chicken pieces are chicken tenders.

Upon my umpteenth visit to Le Peep, the restaurant where eggs are not merely served but revered, I've decided it's high time I shared the good, the great, and the gluten-y of this culinary cathedral.First, let's talk ambiance. Le Peep doesn't just serve breakfast; it serves breakfast with a side of sunshine, no matter the weather. It's the kind of place where you half expect the chickens that laid your eggs to sit at the next table, gossiping about the rooster's latest escapades. The service? Impeccable. The staff are so friendly, you'll want to invite them over for Thanksgiving dinner. They remember your name, your order, and even your dog's birthday. How do they do it? Magic? ESP? We may never know. The food, ah, the food! It's like your grandmother's cooking--if your grandmother was a five-star chef with a penchant for perfection. The quiche with bacon and spinach is a work of art, a perfect balance of fluffy egg, savory bacon, and fresh spinach, paired with fresh fruit that tastes like it was plucked from Eden itself. And the mimosas? Let's just say they're the reason brunch was invented. They somehow manage to make mornings not just bearable but blissful. But it's not all sunshine and smoothies. There's a dark cloud on this brunch paradise: the lack of gluten-free options. (Which is why it gets 4 stars and not 5) Now, I'm not saying every dish should be gluten-free. I'm just suggesting that perhaps the gluten-full bread and waffles could scoot over to make room for their gluten-free cousins. Imagine the joy, the sheer elation, of gluten-intolerant folks being able to devour a stack of waffles without fear. It's not just food; it's freedom.Their lattes and smoothies are the nectar of the gods. The baristas must be part wizard because what they do with coffee and fruit is nothing short of magical. These beverages could very well be the elixir of life, or at the very least, the elixir of morning people. In conclusion, Le Peep is a brunch haven with a small, gluten-shaped hole in its menu. Fill that hole, Le Peep, and you won't just be the talk of the town; you'll be the talk of the gluten-free world. Until then, I'll be over here, sipping my mimosa, plotting how to smuggle in my own gluten-free bread without being caught. Cheers!

July 01, 20222.75 stars, rounding to 3.The wait to sit down wasn't long; restaurant seemed pretty busy; not enough servers.Sister ordered the California Turkey, pressed, but because of Mom's avocado allergy, she asked for it to be omitted so that Mom could try. It arrived with avocado, so we had to send it back and wait for a new one, which took another 15, 20 minutes to arrive. (By then, Mom was already full.) I ordered the Corned beef hash Benedict. Was expecting chunky corned beef, so the mushy texture of the hash was a little off-putting. Everyone was hungry though, so we ate quite a bit. Next time, we will just order the pressed California turkey, and I hope the kitchen won't forget to omit the avocado when we specify an allergy to it!For drinks, sister ordered the Chuck Berry, which she and Mom thoroughly enjoyed! I ordered a cappuccino, which took forever to arrive, which made me think someone had to run to a grocery to buy milk, or something. (It took that long!)We may give this place another try, but only because it's just so close to where family lives. That pressed California turkey and Chuck Berry smoothie impressed us enough not to send this birdie away.

Waffles are something made at home nothing special. The "milkshakes" are just chocolate milk with whipped cream on top. The prices are high. Do not recommend first and last time here

I can't believe it took us so long to finally try this place! And apparently they have multiple locations. We love coming here for breakfast. Our favorite menu item is the Blarney Skillet (corned beef hash, green bell peppers, onions, hollandaise sauce, 2 basted eggs, peasant potatoes, and choice of English muffin or toast, $10). I've also enjoyed their Cinnamon Roll Pancakes (comes with 2) but I was not impressed by the California Crepe (turkey, bacon, spinach, mushrooms, Gruyère cheese, topped with avocado slices, served with peasant potatoes, $10). We've also had great service every time.

Service not good. Took waitress 15 minutes before taking my order. After ordering my coffee, had to ask for creamer a second time and then had no silverware so went to front to get some on my own. Food just ok.
