Came here last night to celebrate our 11th anniversary. We have been here before and really enjoy it. Came with a group of 6 of us. We were seated promptly. A couple of observations- first- the two tables that were together to form a larger seating area were almost 3/4 of an inch different in height. I ended up balancing between the two. Should have been noticed by the service staff. Also, our waitress- (unfortunately I did not get her name or I would have included it here) seemed to be either overwhelmed by the party of 6 or just not happy to be there. Just a non-caring or don't care to be here attitude. All at the table noticed it. She was pleasant enough- just not acting happy to see us- looked more bothered by us. She took our orders almost mechanically, and when I requested hush puppies it seemed to be a bother. Took forever to get them- actually came after our meals were delivered. Asked for ranch dressing to go with them- never showed up. Asked for extra tarter sauce for my fish- she came back and said " you asked for something but I forgot"- I said it was tarter sauce, but not to bother since I already finished the fish. Overall- the food was excellent. Ribs, Mac n cheese, cheese curds, hamburger steak, redneck fries and fried pickles. All excellent. Only drawback was the waitress seemed to be in a poor mood with a poor attitude. Otherwise- excellent experience. Will he back- because we really enjoy the food and atmosphere. Perhaps the waitress was just having an "off" night. Hello Brandi. Let me say this- our waitress wasn't a "bad" waitress. Just didn't seem to be into the job last night. Like o said- Maybe an off night. We sat on the first floor, in front of the bus- two tables together to seat six. Right across from the booths on the back wall. And like I said- the meals were all Top Shelf!

Well, once again, Lancaster's has not failed in taking a perfectly good meal and turning it to crap. Forgive the bold statement but when you order a Cobb Salad you expect fresh vegetables and lettuce arranged in what should look like a Cobb Salad, and not a salad with some under cooked and way under seasoned chicken in a taco bowl meant for a Taco Salad . Also, there was more 3 day old Mushrooms and sliced onions in this salad than there was lettuce bacon, boiled eggs , which by the way were so over cooked they had green rings around them. I've said it before and I will say it again. This place has out served and outlived it useful existence. When Smoke Pit finally opens, I venture to say Lancaster's BBQ will finally be put out of its misery. At least I hope so.----------------In response to the question when I came in and whether it was take out or not. That doesn't matter the fact of the matter is the food was horrible. For the timeline I just visited yesterday and it was around 1 o'clock in the afternoon so it was in prime time for lunch. So there is, Or should be no excuse for the type of food that was received in the amount of money paid for it.This is not the first time this has happened at Lancaster's barbecue. But this is the first time where I just hit my wits end. If you charge $14 for a salad at least provide a salad that looks as good as what she would get at Wendy's for $8.95. And for God sakes, at least use fresh vegetables. I know mushrooms turn, but they don't turn black in less than 30 minutes.

I'm visiting family in Mooresville and they recommended coming to Lancaster's as they have some of the best wings. Now, I come from South Florida where we have a ton of good wing spots, so naturally I was a bit skeptical, but I gave to admit...Lancaster's absolutely lived up to the hype and more! We came on a Thursday at around 6 and it was the perfect time to go because as soon as we put our order in, it started to get really busy! (Which is always a good sign)The atmosphere is pretty awesome! Definitely one of the most unique restaurants I've been in. They have regular tables, a bar, but also have a bus in the middle of the restaurant that you can sit and eat in! Our server was Cathy and she was so incredibly accommodating, quick and personable. She definitely made it a memorable experience. I really wanted to try the wings and she recommended the garlic parm, even brought out a little sauce on the side to try before getting it. So we ended up getting two orders of the small garlic parm wings with blue cheese and chips, the quarter fried chicken with spicy dip, an order of cheese curds and an order of fried pickles. To start, they bring you a basket of hush puppies which are great on their own, but I'd recommend getting a side of the tatar sauce as it really elevates the app! The freshness of the dill in the tartar really pairs well with the warm crispness of the hush puppy. The fried pickles had a fantastic pickle to breading ratio. They weren't overly oily and were crispy, served with a side of their creamy ranch, I'd definitely recommend. Surprisingly, the highlight of all the apps were the cheese curds! They're fried to perfection with a buttery garlic flavor that was so incredible, I'm considering moving to Mooresville just to be able to continue eating them! The wings were just as great as I was told they would be. Crispy, a good size, and the garlic parm sauce had the perfect amount of heat. I had to stop myself from eating all of them so I could be sure and have leftovers to enjoy it again the next day. My aunt says she always orders the quarter fried chicken because its consistently amazing. And while it says a quarter, it looks way bigger! You get a lot of bang for your buck. It even comes with thick cut fries. The sauce is a vinegary, spicy treat that really makes the fried chicken sing. With two 10 pc wings, the quarter chicken, cheese curds, fried pickles and one soft drink, our total only came to $65 which feels like an absolute steal! This meal in South Florida would have easily been around $90. Corey, the manager, even came over to check how everything was. I cant say enough great things about Lancaster's and I will definitely be back my next trip up to Mooresville!

In town for a work event, and the sponsoring company treated us to Lancaster's. Walked inside and was pleasantly surprised by the decor inside. The colors and coolness of the race car decorations were interesting. There is a small game area also. The menu has a lot of items that sound delicious. The green beans were a little pepper forward. The wings and rubs were saucy, just the way i like it. We had a large party of approximately 30 people, and they served us in a timely and orderly manner in the upstairs area. We received complimentary freshly made hushpuppies, which were delicious. The portions were very large and worth the money. I built a combo with Baby Back Ribs, 5 wings with barbalo (bbq & Buffalo) sauce, and sides of homemade curly chips and green beans. Everything was delicious. Stephanie and Kelly were both great servers. They answered our questions with a smile and were prompt with coming back with additional items. I'd visit again if I return to the area, and recommend to anyone as well.

Calling all NASCAR fans ! This is the place to be if you're a fan of NASCAR & racing . Very unique spot that I would deem as a nascar themed restaurant! Located only 20-30 minutes outside of Charlotte ! Lancaster's BBQ offers some of the best BBQs around, with so much variety ! I am a fan of the brisket fries here on the menu they are called redneck fries . You also have to try the firecracker shrimp which I was truly impressed on how amazing they were as well . Inside you will also find a bus located inside that you can dine in & Nascar memorabilia all over the restaurant . I also can't believe how unbelievably cheap the drinks are here ! If you visit be sure to stop in the bathroom and check out the cool sinks !

Tonight WAS THE WORST/ROTTEN FOOD(which lead to extreme STOMACH PAIN) HANDLED BY THE WORST MANAGER I have ever experienced, out of 12 years of coming to this establishment.I have been coming here for YEARS, always brought family to this restaurant for the fun experience and the good food.I ordered a Cobb salad WITHOUT a tortilla bowl. $14.25 was the full price. I started chewing into the salad and many times I found myself biting into bad, ROTTEN lettuce. Tasted exactly like I was eating grass from my own back yard. I called the manager, MORGAN, over and told her about the rotten lettuce. To be fair she did offer another salad or a replacement meal. Which I declined because I didn't want MORE ROTTEN LETTUCE, and I lost my appetite, why would I want another plate of something? (Which-now, I'm a hour and a half since eating what little of my meal that I did and my stomach is completely ripped up, cramping and diarrhea.)Let's be logical. The best thing to do was to COMP the meal, for rotten lettuce that upset the stomach of the customer? Right? No. Instead a $5 manager discount, but then the RESTAURANT charges to use CREDIT CARD PURCHASES, which was $4.30. Now? Was there really a discount? Not realllyyy.I called MORGAN back over and asked her why she didn't comp the ROTTEN salad? She defended that I ate most of the salad? No I did NOT, the salad was soggy and I mashed it down with all the rotten pieces I spit out. Including the napkins that had my spit out lettuce in to. Please see pictures for reference. She then said I ate all the chicken-YEAH I DID, HALF A CHICKEN BREAST? Which was the only appetizing part of the salad that WASN'T ROTTEN!!!! And since I did NOT TAKE HER UP ON HER OFFER OF A REPLACEMENT MEAL, THAT MY STOMACH WAS UPSET FROM-wouldn't it be proper for a COMP?! But she didn't sway her decision, she was actually VERY RUDE about it to me, my friend, and my mother.Plus, it's not like we were a party of two trying to get a free meal. WE WERE A PARTY OF SIX THAT SPENT $123 on the whole meal, that total is not including tip. But really, was it worth it Morgan? To be that ungodly rude and not comp a ROTTEN SALAD? Please, TAKE THAT measly $14 and head over to the FOOD LION and buy a NEW BOX OF SALAD. Please. DONT let the next customer who has a salad have my date of spending the whole night on the "porcelain throne."By the way this place SUCKS for celiac and Gluten Free people. I tried to get the salad, look how that turned out for me.

Been a while since my family and I have come to Lancasters. Was worried when we showed up Wednesday night because the parking lot was packed. Had to park near some big building next door. With it being that busy I was worried it would be slow and would take a while to get a seat. Nope. Walked right in. The best part was they had live music. Weird placement for singer dude, but he was really good. We sat in my kids favorite spot "the bus". Horrible with names, but our server was great. She had glasses pink shirt and a spunky go get it attitude. Despite it being a packed house (I guess to hear the music) service was good. The vibe was very fun. Have I mentioned that the music was terrific. The food was excellent as always. I had the kickin chicken sandwich with chips and no trip is complete to Lancansters without getting a bowl of Brunswick stew. Very tasty. Overall, despite the crazy crowd in there, the place was running like a well oiled machine. Multiple servers came by to check on us, I think the manager even stopped up in the bus to check on all of us a couple times. Wish it hadnt been so long since we have been there, but we will be back soon. Only negative...and it is not a big deal....That singer looked like he was standing over one of the tables playing his guitar. If I was at that table I would have felt like he was a little close. Thanks again. See you soon Lancasters.
