Lake Wylie Pizza & Italian Restaurant

So, I decided to stop on my way home from work and get a pizza. Not only was the pizza fantastic, it only took 15 minutes to get and a price which anyone would be happy to pay. Ex-Large Pepperoni is highly recommended. Thank you Lake Wylie Pizza for the amazing service and pizza.

Waited WAY too long for a attendee and then she had to get confirmation on where to seat us, I assumed she was new, hopefully but the point of view was only a table was being used, one table...so the entire room of no customers yet for the day and we stood there for 25 minutes before we got attention then waited an extra almost 10 minutes before we left.

So i may not be a fan of there Italian but we stopped in for breakfast and it was pretty good. the have corned beef hash which is hard to find. The meal was nice.portions could be a tad bit bigger but it was state. I would love some drink options like tomato juice. My husband had the veggie omelet and I will try that next time

Lake Wylie Pizza and Italian Restaurant, a place filled with flimsy straws, bread as hard as rocks, and cold food.Apparently some things in life are irrevocable once done or otherwise completed. The crunching of my teeth upon what I thought was complementary garlic knots reverberated in my mind and even left me ajar for just a moment. This is a first impression apparently...raw disappointment in this case. After being left in solitude with this stack of garlic bricks I decided to just get up and ask for some more fresh knots! Simple enough right?? Nope! No! Not at all! I was met with a little worried smile and the claim that these are made in the morning, therefore, the entire day's batch is ruined. So, instead of swallowing the mistake upfront. This restaurant decided to taunt customers all day long with nothing but false hope at a complementary service. This is diabolical and truly the pinnacle of dream smashing at its core. How dare you make me suffer like this!!! 1 star removed!!!!So once the night was already pretty much ruined I figured it could not get worse right? Nope! No! Wrong! How silly of me! The entrees ordered were fettuccini Alfredo and a Stromboli. The Stromboli was fine. Nothing more to remark there. But the fettuccini Alfredo on the other hand was more of a mystery. The question on the front of our minds being, "why is it so thick?". Once my lady had taken a bite it was all clear. A true epiphany had dawned upon us both. The aperture had opened and revealed the harshest truth imaginable. This food was cold. Ouch! The equivalent to a knife in the back. The one thing you would trust while eating out is that your food is actually cared for or considered. But seeing all those snake eyes and false smiles being flashed around this place, it only makes sense that the fettuccini Alfredo would instead of a meal, be used as a torture device upon us. 2 stars removed on that one!!!!!!Why? Why must we leave this place soulless, devoid of emotion, and freezing on the inside of our stomachs?The answer is simple. This place is truly evil and they only wish to toy with and punish you.-Brett P

I wanted to like it. The wait staff were trying their best, understaffed but hustling and also being kind. Food was mediocre. Garlic knots were cold and didn't taste like anything. Pizza also on the cooler side. Marinara is the sweet kind. We make better pizza in our pizza oven at home.

The food and service has always been great! My personal favorite is the buffalo wings!

This place used to be good. I ordered fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and it was so dry. Both the pasta and the chicken. (Don't order this, it's not good)I also ordered a sausage, pepper, and onion hero and got like 8 thin slices of sausage on each side of the sandwich with very few peppers and onion. It tasted great but the filling was practically non-existent. Sad part, I use to like this place, now .. it's a big no for me. I don't know what's going on here but they need to get it together if they want repeat customers. Maybe it's because I got it to go and they were running out of food? Whatever it was, they lost some customers.

This is the best pizza hands down from the perfect crust to the amazing sauce. I also had the blackened salmon 5 star

Extremely casual and home like, this is definitely not a white table cloth kind of place. The service was great and very attentive. The food was good but definitely not a " haute cuisine" kind of place. The food was as close to home cooking you can get. We've been there half a dozen times usually have one of the many pasta dishes they serve but haven't tried a pizza yet although they look great! I would heartily recommend this restaurant, especially if you're taking the family. In addition to all the things above their prices are very fair and well worth it.

LWP's Mona Lisa sandwich never disappoints. I have never had their pizza but their entrees are great as well. BUT since having the Mona Lisa, i always order it when we come.
