Lake Norman Cottage

If you want the most adorable spot to visit for wine, chocolates, snacks or shopping do drop by. Its the cutest place! Adorned with cutesy stuff and I found me one of the cutest sweaters. It says " Champagne Please..."They're located next to North Harbor Club. We didn't have time to sit for wine or anything. Just a quick visit!

What a wonderful place to grab a glass of wine and a charcuterie board!! It was busy for a Saturday night but we were still able to grab a table for our party of 5. This place is so cute with a lot of seating! I would highly recommend coming here to grab a drink before going to dinner!

This is now our "go to" place after boating for a nice glass of wine and snacks! Cozy, comfortable, and warm, it just feels so nice sitting inside the cottage sipping a glass of wine with family and friends! We are already looking forward to our visit next summer! And a shout out to Theresa, she was just great, helping us with seating, wine, and just general hospitality!

This place is so fun and chill for a wine night with friends. There are plenty of spaces and rooms to sit in, and it's great to look out and see the lake view. We got a cheese board and it was great. The server was amazing too.

What a FABULOUS day!!! Started the day in an empty place and when we left the place was PACKED! This place is a wonderful way to start, spend, or end a day lakeside. The wine selection is good, as is the selection of various meats, cheeses, and snacks. I love the concept of indoor or outdoor seating and letting people just meet and sip. They have bottles of wines from around the world, very limited single glass selections, but you can take the remaining bottle with you, so no worries!!!Amy was AMAZING! Extremely knowledgeable and attentive. TRY THIS PLACE if you are on the south side of the lake.

I adore this quaint spot on Lake Norman. I enjoy hosting a meeting here, as there are plenty of spots to spread out and have a conversation. They are a wine shop - wine by the glass (bottles only during COVID-19) or you can buy a bottle from their retail selection, which is well stocked, and purchase at retail prices (not restaurant prices!!!). They also have beer. It is a great spot to enjoy on a beautiful day, when you can stare at the lake and boats and just relax and enjoy. It is also a great spot to grab wine for any occasion. Check out their tasting dinners on Fri or Sat nights.For dinner, we recommend putting your name on the list at North Harbor Club and walk over for some wine/beer as you wait. Maybe even grab a bottle or two from another day. If you need a gift to go with a bottle of wine, they have a decent variety of gift items...one-stop-shop!

What a gem! Met a couple of girlfriends for wine after work. She comes here often and it's not often I get an opportunity to venture outside Charlotte so this wine cottage was a very welcome change of scenery. The cottage is located next door to the North Harbor Club. Every room is decorated entirely different and 3 areas have a table which can also be reserved for your group. We sat at the large square room at the back door entrance. I didn't snap a picture because as soon as we got up, 4 more people quickly sat down. It seems to be the cottage favorite. There is a lazy susan in the middle where the hostess places the snacks. This room and the one next to it display the wine for purchase to drink on site or take home. Beer is also available. Every room is surrounded with displays of gifts available for purchase.They do not have a full kitchen but provide things like charcuterie, gourmet cheeses and other light bites. I can't wait to come back, especially when it's warmer to sit outside and look at the lake.

We stopped in while we were waiting for our table to next door. The service was quick and plenty of options for wines to drink. It's a very dog friendly place and you can sit outside with your fur family member out front.

The owner and staff were very rude to me after being a patron of the restaurant for over 10 years. Today, my party ordered a flight of mimosas and were enjoying them on the patio when I came over with a beer from North Harbor club (we were waiting on a table). In front of my entire family, a member of the staff said, "I'm going to have to take that beer from you because I don't sell it." She then made me buy one of her beers (and it wasn't even the one I ordered - asked for Coors Light and got Corona). After I bought the wrong beer, she told me I couldn't take it to North Harbor when my table was open. We've had family birthdays at that location before and she wasn't nearly so rude. Odd. I'm never going back, as I've never been treated so poorly and there are plenty of places to buy over-priced wine in LKN.

Fun place to have a glass or share a bottle of wine. Cozy indoor or water-view outdoor seating. Great selection of wines. Hang out with friends and play some table games they have available. Unique and very enjoyable place!
