This is a review for 64 Bistro, I have not been on the golf course.. Our food was delicious, we had a 1/2 rack of ribs, grilled shrimp salad and the slider plate that includes a pulled chicken, a brisket with pimento cheese and pulled pork. So good! Our server, Victoria was EXCELLENT!

NOTE: This course is now called Lake Louise. This is a nice country golf course outside of Mocksville. It has a nice mix of holes, some wide open and some that need more precision, some big flat greens and some smaller undulating ones. Water comes into play on a few holes. People who play here aren't too precious about their golf games so the pace of play is good.People are friendly and the cost is reasonable. If I lived closer to Mocksville I would play here regularly.

This is a true "gem" in the rough. I've not played it this year as I heard it's temporarily closed. I hope the key word is "temporarily." Most of the greens are usually in great shape. This is a mature course and many of the fairways are reasonably tight to begin with but several are tree lined so the oaks and maples have spread out-and in. This has choked many of the chutes down making some of the challenging longer holes even more of a needle threader. Whoever laid this course out did a wonderful job. If you ever ask anyone who has played it what they think and they tell you it's not worth the drive or money, you better ask yourself if that person has had their feelings hurt by this quiet monster. You better bring your "A" game or an extra bag of balls because if the long & tight fairways don't get you, the water lined holes that invite you to "go for it" may. The fairways are sadly not the best and many approach shots setting where you aimed can be like hitting off hard pan. If someone had the money to invest in this track, it has the bones to rival any course within 25 miles. The course is fair but very challenging. Beautiful rolling hills, trees and several lakes makes it a natural beauty. It is definitely worth the time and very affordable green fee to experience it at least once. If you play the championship tees and play the ball down, you'll definitely feel like you've been tested and will likely want to come back as it will make you a better player...in my humble opinion.
