One of the best Mexican restaurants I've experienced in recent memory. Everyone working here is really nice, and the food is especially good. The chips are above average and they're free with your meal, and though the queso is a separate order from the chips, it's so amazing that you're going to order it more times than not.The menu is beautiful design wise, but what's even more beautiful is the food you'll get. Some of the pictures in the menu don't do their respective dishes enough service which is shockingly impressive. Alongside their beauty is their taste, and let me tell you, they are THRIVING in that department.The barbacoa quesadilla I ordered was impeccable, seasoned amazingly with the perfect amount of cheese, altogether making a dish so high quality that I'd expect it to be worth twice as much as its actual price. Everyone I was with had the same consensus with their order, be it nachos or burritos.The only downside that I've found is that it can get loud in there sometimes. Everything else is immaculate. If you're in the mood for Mexican food, you can't go wrong with La Victoria.

La Victoria has the best Mexican food in the area. I moved to Charlotte from Atlanta and it's has been a struggle to find some good food. Everything is usually overpriced for bland food and poor quality, but not here! The food and prices are great. I've tried different menu items and look forward to trying more dishes. The staff is always very friendly. You can't go wrong with La Victoria!

Consistency is NOT key here. We live down the road and have been here many times, we order pretty much the same thing every time, and get charged a different amount every single time. Half the time the staff is super welcoming and friendly, half the time the server acts like they would rather doing anything else other than helping you. The food is good, but it's not worth the headache of hoping you get what you ordered and not be charged for things you didn't. Today we got charged a total of $4 worth of items we didn't order / receive. Make sure you're checking your receipts and all the charges.

We dined here on a Sunday night at 5pm. We were seated quickly with chips and salsa and asked about our drink order. The chips and salsa were delicious. One spicy and one less spicy was nice to have. We ordered and our food was delivered promptly. I had the Enchiladas Supreme and my hubby had chicken tacos. Both were excellent. The rice was the best rice I have ever had at a Mexican restaurant- usually I completely leave it on my plate. Service was attentive. We will definitely return.

La Victoria is a lively upbeat Mexican restaurant in the heart of Ballantyne! We stopped by one night for dinner and had a great time. I ordered ACP Texano which is basically ACP with chicken, shrimp and steak. The shrimp were perfectly cooked but there was no queso on the plate at all. My favorite thing about ACP is all melty liquidy queso over the rice and chicken, but not in this case. The cheese was shredded cheese melted over top that just became hard as it sat. I asked for a side of queso to dump on top. The side of queso was tiny and more than $5 which I thought was a little steep for what it was.I enjoyed my margarita and they have a great beer selection as well. This particular night, they were setting up for live music as we were leaving. Bummer! Overall, a great neighborhood spot!

Came in on a whim on a Friday afternoon. My husband had the whole fish and I had a chicken quesadilla and we had a pitcher of margaritas. started off with fresh tortilla chips that were still warm from being made. They were light and crispy some of the best I've ever had. The staff was very friendly and the service was very fast. It really was a fantastic meal.

This restaurant is located in a strip mall with ample parking. We were seated immediately. I forgot to ask our waitress name but she was great.We were served complimentary chips & salsa. Order a side of guacamole very good and fresh. I ordered a margarita and boy was I happy I did, the cups were huge and it was made pretty good. We all had different entrees and all were good. I will definitely be back here if in the area.
