Ahh, how sweet it is..growing up in NYC, all different bakeries where available. Though I'm partially biased to my Dominican bakeries Colombian pastries are a very close second. Man, they did not disappoint. Pan con jamón y queso, pan con queso, pastel gloria y arequipe, in heaven. Cheat days are meant for this.Support local, buy local

We went to this in San Antonio Texas and saw there was one in Matthews - it's a little storefront on 74 that is fabulous for breakfast traditional sweet pastries, sandwiches, and coffee. The lady behind the counter was so sweet, she even gave me a free sample of a new bread they were trying.I have been thinking about this place in San Antonio for years. so excited, there is one close to me now! Give it a try you will not be disappointed.

Pleasantly surprised to have found this new hidden gem. A Colombian bakery that has so many goodies from my childhood. Brazo de reina, milhojas, pastel de Gloria con guayaba, many Colombian imported candy!! Don't forget to check in and spread the word! I found out this bakery through Instagram their page is @lapanaderiaclt. Next time I will love to try some of their homemade coffee drinks. For now my sweet tooth is satisfied.

Skip it! Definitely NOT authentic! The first disappointment was walking into this extremely small bakery and realizing there's no place to sit, inside or outside. Already starting on the wrong foot! The bakery next door has outside seating available. They even have some shipping company inside the bakery which was odd and out of place. The Café con Leché wasn't bad. The empanadas are terrible! They tasted very old and stale, and the meat inside was mushy and not good at all! I don't understand how the Colombian bakeries in MIAMI are sooooooo different from the bakeries here in Charlotte. They're terrible here!! The Chorizo was extremely over cooked and dried out! Colombian empanadas are my favorite and they definitely don't meet the standards for them. I didn't even see chicharron, carimañola or pan de bono in any of the warmers on display. It looked a bit depleted.
