Koto's Japanese Restaurants

You want a fast, Healthy nutritional food option! Koto's in Taylorsville NC is a perfect choice. The food is fresh, the service excellent and the ambiance relaxed. Yummy!

My husband LOVES koto's and we have yet to have a bad experience! A clean environment with friendly staff, and large portions! It's not what I would call a cozy environment and for that reason I would prefer carry out to dine in, but that is personal preference. I am not a fan of Japanese food, but I really enjoyed they hibachi steak. I'm sure we will be back soon and I'll try something new!

I love this place. During my chemo, they prepared special custom meals for me since I couldn't taste anything and most things tasted spicey to me.

This is a straight up awesome Japanese restaurant. They have the classics that Kobe offers in Hickory. And for a fraction of the cost you can get an awesome meal. I would highly recommend anyone to stop in, the atmosphere obviously is not like koto's but the food is just as good. The drive-thru pick up is quick and easy.

This place is so terrible. Hate that this is one of the only 2 Japanese restaurants in town and they both are awful! Service/waitstaff are annoying, rude, sarcastic, & unattentive. Food is dry and taste like it's been reheated on a dirty grill top. Soup is bland and all it has going for it is it's warm. Restaurant is gross and looks unclean.

I am a visitor to North Carolina and have been looking for local restaurants. This place has some really good feast! Let me me say that first of all. Great prices! Now let's get to the service. No bueno! Slow and almost like the wait staff spins a wheel or casts a lottery to wait on you. Almost like you are interrupting their texting or fidget spinning or conversation. Really too bad because the food is very good. Would have liked to give a much higher rating

they have good food and everything pretty cheap. they have really good service and never have made my order wrong

We love their soup. Carrots tend to be over_cooked. Eat them anyway. Very good with takeout orders.

Three stars for a few reasons. 1) Japanese Take-Out was extremely good. 2) Sushi was not so good; average fast food at best. 3) Service was sub-par to put it nicely. The front counter staff chatted about patrons of the restaurant that were currently eating and could be heard easily. They acted like they did not want to be there and could not have cared less about being there. They made various comments about the night almost being over. (I can't blame them just don't show it when you are the "face" or a business. Overall I would eat takeout Japanese Hibachi style food from there again. I would not eat in nor order sushi from here again.
