I spotted an ad for Koibito on Facebook for BOGO poke bowls. So when Mrs. K. said she wanted poke, we headed to Koibito.Parking here is interesting. There are a few street spots for takeout and then a garage that seems to require payment. I never did figure that out.Poke was great. We tried the "First Timer's Bowl" and the "Tuna Bowl", both of which were good portions with a nice variety of flavor and texture with a good portion of fish. You can also build your own. Prices were decent considering that this is a few ounces of sushi-grade fish with lots of toppings.A nice meal, very enjoyable, perhaps a little steep if you were actually buying two. But with the BOGO? Yes, that's pretty darned awesome and now that we've been here, we'll be back.[Review 2394 of 2024 - 3853 in North Carolina - 23407 overall]

One of my favorite poke places in my rotation. I order here pretty frequent and never fails to disappoint. I like the various options/topping choices that they offer. I do enjoy their marinated fish options such as the Hawaiian tuna! They are the one of a few places who do offer marinated fish. The price here is fair considering the amount you get in your bowl.

My new favorite poke place! Great location and clean interior. Helpful staff offered samples if needed. I loved how incredibly fresh everything was - I ordered a medium with three scoops of their Hawaiian tuna. Loved it!!! The sauce and topping selection were great. Price justified by quality. I can't wait to go back - will be a regular.

Fresh & tasty poke bowls! This place is pretty new, and I'm so happy to have it close by for a new go-to lunch spot. The friendly staff explained all of the options (signature bowls or build-your-own with white rice, brown rice, or salad base) and were very patient and helpful, ensuring that we got exactly what we wanted. They also let us know that if you download the app, you get $5 off your first order and will earn points every time you purchase that go toward rewards. Good to know!We tried the tuna trio signature bowl as well as the small bowl with one protein (I chose Hawaiian tuna). And then we piled on the topping... you can pick as many as you'd like! I got seaweed salad, crab salad, edamame, ginger, tobiko, cucumbers, and more. Even though I got the small bowl, I was stuffed by the end and couldn't even finish all of the rice. So for around $15, considering the freshness and quality of ingredients, these bowls are a pretty good value. This poke is more-than-okay... it's great!

Excellent, fresh poke, tons of delicious toppings and sauces, and great for folks with gluten allergies/celiac. Pricing is based on the # of scoops of protein, and they don't skimp on the toppings, so even a small or medium is pretty filling. I was super impressed with the allergen list right up front and that ALL of the sauces were gluten free! (they're made with tamari). So nice to have options. My son and I both did the build your own bowl options. He loved the salmon, tuna, and seaweed salad with Masayo, and my spicy tuna, tuna, and octopus was great. Good selection of drink options (tractor juices and sodas), and they had mochi also if you swing by and want a sweet treat. Retail Parking is tucked behind in the parking deck for the building with easy access to shops and 3 hrs free parking. Can't wait to come back!

We'd driven past this place a few times since it opened and finally got a chance to check it out. They have several signature bowls as well as build-your-own options where you can choose the amount of protein you want along with a wide range of toppings. I opted for the tuna trio bowl which came with spicy tuna, ahi tuna and Hawaiian tuna, all topped with a sweet chili sauce. The standout for me was the Hawaiian tuna -- the marinade they use for the tuna is both sweet and savory and I've never had anything like it in a poké bowl before. So good. Also, the staff was super friendly and kindly explained all the options to us. This might just be our new go-to lunch spot!

Great food and friendly helpful service at the counter. I'm very particular about the freshness of the fish, cook on the rice, and even the cut sizes on the proteins and toppings and this place is perfect. Small or medium build your own bowlz are much favorite with tuna, edamame, seaweed salad, cucumber salad, pozu, and a drizzle of sriracha aioli.

When I ventured into the wild, untamed culinary savannah of Charlotte, NC, little did I know I'd stumble upon a poke paradise that would make my taste buds sing louder than a karaoke night at a sushi bar. Enter Koibito Poke in the bustling South Park neighborhood, a place where the poke bowls are so fresh, you'd swear the fish just leapt out of the ocean and into your bowl with a joyous splash. Our saga begins with a Herculean catering order for 120 ravenous souls, orchestrated by the legendary Adam of Koibito Poke. Adam, a maestro of the poke bar, delivered not just food, but an experience so delightful, even the most stoic of office accountants found themselves doing a little happy dance. The setup was a masterpiece rivaling the Sistine Chapel, if Michelangelo had been into culinary arts and had a thing for flying fish eggs. The spread of proteins was a sight to behold: tuna that whispered sweet nothings of the ocean, salmon that shimmered with the promise of omega-3 joy, and a krab mix that made you question all prior life crab choices. But the pièce de résistance? A build-your-own poke bar that made every attendee feel like a Michelin-star chef. With white rice fluffier than the clouds in heaven, spring mix that made you want to frolic through fields, and toppings that sparkled with the promise of gastronomic ecstasy. Flying fish eggs (masago) that popped with joy, jalapeños that danced the salsa, and pineapples that brought a touch of tropical bliss. Not to mention the crispy onions and cucumber salad that added a crunch louder than a rock concert. The array of sauces was like a trip around the world in 80 dips: citrus ponzu that zinged, teriyaki sauce that hugged your soul, and a house soy sauce that whispered secret umami truths. And let's not forget the dietary accommodations--gluten-free, vegetarian, and fish-free options that ensured no one was left behind on this flavor expedition. It was a unifying moment of culinary harmony, a poke utopia that brought together carnivores, herbivores, and everyone in between. So, if you find yourself wandering the streets of Charlotte with a hunger that only a mountain of poke can satisfy, make your way to Koibito Poke. Say hi to Adam and his team, the unsung heroes of poke perfection. I'll be back soon, probably hiding in the bushes outside, waiting for my next poke fix.

Confused how there are so many 5 stars, this was the worst poke I've had. Rice didn't taste like good sushi rice and the fish was terrible and did not taste at all of quality. Couldn't tell if the salmon was raw sushi salmon or cooked salmon, looked off. Wouldn't recommend.
