My son has been going here since he was 12 weeks old and I could not recommend it enough. As a new mom with no family close by, I had no idea what I was doing. Wendy was a god send and was super informative and supportive. I was terrified to introduce solids and they really helped me with that. My son loves all of his teachers (especially Jedah) and always has a smile on his face for Wendy when he's dropped off. I honestly know they love my son and it makes it so much easier to drop him off and just get through the work week. A bunch of teachers that aren't even in his class always say hi to him and know about him (Miss Meghan and Miss Anne). The front desk staff (Brooke, Kristen, Tiffany) and so awesome too. Kim has been super welcoming from the get go. Also the fact that tuition includes food is SO nice. It saves money but more so it's just one less thing to worry about and do during hectic mornings and evenings. Also, they do so many activities and theme weeks - my son lives water play. We have had such a great experience so far.

Our daughter attended the infant room at Kids R Kids for about 3.5 months. It was our first experience with daycare and we were happy with it. The director of the center is on site every day and is very responsive over phone and email. You can tell she really cares and that translates to the attitudes of the teachers, too.Kids R Kids has a higher staff to child ratio than is required by the state, so we felt good that our daughter had more attention. The communication between the center and parents is good. There is an app that gives you a full report at the end of the day of all activities (feedings, naps, diaper changes) and they'll occasionally send pictures. There are also video cameras in the room that you can log into to see what's happening live. We really appreciated this level of transparency. They do lots of good activities with the babies - they go outside every day weather permitting, read together, tummy time. I felt like our daughter's motor skills (such as rolling and sitting up) developed rapidly with their help. They also did some very cute art/painting projects. This location of Kids R Kids is in a nice, new building and has a very convenient parking lot. Pickup and drop-off was always fast and simple. The only reason we left this daycare is because we got a spot at a daycare closer to home. In our original search, Kids R Kids was our number one choice and was right near my husband's office. However, due to Covid, we are both working from home and it saved us a lot of driving to change daycares.

Very good pre-school. My daughter has learned a lot on the 7 months she attended it. Kim is a great principal and runs the school very well. I just felt there was a high turnover on my daughter's classroom on the last 3 months. She had 3~4 teachers coming and leaving quickly. Also there are a couple of teachers who doesn't seem to be really into taking care of the kids, but some others who dedicate themselves very well to the job. They have an option to watch the kids over the internet which is great ! Most centers don't do this because of privacy concerns, however it means a lot for us immigrants who the families are overseas and can see their grand kids in a daily basis.

Sooooo I'm not going to send my tot here because it costs a mortgage payment. But!.... That's the only reason. I mean really I'm reviewing the service I received. The owner is so nice and friendly. She gave me some info over the phone and that's a lot more than I can say for a daycare I called on 7th street. I like that they have cameras so you can see what's going on with your kids while you're at work or wherever. She gave tons of information so I didn't really have to ask many questions. And trust... I normally ask a lot of questions when it involves the future of my baby and a lot of money. I had to take my shoes off before going into the infant room and I like that because that shows they care about the cleanliness of their center. Most everyone has been there for a really long time, like 10 years or more. Who wants to get to know new people all the time and worry about how they're treating your baby. There's so much more to this place, but again the money is just crazy. I assume this may be standard for daycares in Charlotte, but I found a really great place for half the price. They only operate off of referrals so I'm not going to post that up here considering space is limited as they always have parents trying to get in. They're pretty selective and like a family and I like that. If you have the dinero to shell out an extra mortgage payment, this place is worth it. Take a tour and get in early because they have a long waiting list. Long enough for them to refer parents to other centers just in case.

Let me start by saying that this daycare is as good as it gets. I could have gone with a daycare that cost much less but in my most humble opinion you get what you pay for. Most of this center's staff has a long history with the center; the director has been there since it opened; the majority of the teachers genuinely LOVE the children in their care. The center employs a full time chef. Miss Tresa prepares healthy wholesome foods that aren't prepackaged or processed. Fresh fruits and veggies are given whenever possible. And they absolutely cater to any allergy or dietary needs. I visited the center a few times before making my decision and with every visit Kim (the owner) and Kristen (the director) were kind, patient and you can absolutely tell how much they love what they do. Kim's smiling face greet us every morning with a "Good Morning, (name of child). How are you today? Look at your (something special for each child-shirt, new shoes, hat etc.)" The live streaming camera access comes with your tuition. It's great peace of mind to know I log in and check on my little bean any time I want, whether she is on the playground, the resource room (IN SPANISH CLASS!!!) or in her classroom. They are also very willing to give you status updates any time. If we have a particularly rough drop off or bad night I will call and check in. They immediately transfer me back to the classroom and I get a first hand account of how she is doing from her teachers. The early age rooms have AN EXTRA TEACHER than required by regulations for the ratio. Do you know how RARE that is??? Many of the teachers take such a vested interest in the children that when it comes time to "move up" I think it is just as hard on them as it is on us. But they make it as easy as possible. They welcome visits to the rooms in advance, have transition weeks where the kids get a chance to go play in the new room. Some of the teachers will actually start visiting the kids in their old room prior to them moving up so they aren't moving to a stranger's room. I could go on and on... the field trips for older kids that are included with your tuition, school pick ups, the amazing outdoor play space with two outside play times a day, the ice cream truck visits in summer... and on and on. Look, I know it is hard to choose a place for your child to spend so much time in someone else's care. But you could not choose a better place. They are rated 5 stars AND have a SUPERIOR rating with the North Carolina Division of Child development.

If you value your kids safety do not use this daycare. This morning I witnessed the bus driver deliberately fail to yield for oncoming traffic. The driver turned left in front of oncoming cars while there were children on the bus. He was not concerned about the safety of the children. If he can be reckless in the public eye, I can only imagine what he does behind closed doors. My husband and I are currently touring daycares in the area. Kids r Kids is no longer an option.

My daughter started KRK Feb 2015 at 18mths old, I started working there in May 2015.I put in my 2wk notice in 10/04/19, the owner/boss Kimberly Strother told me "When we wish an employee farewell we like to wish the entire family farewell also so other care arrangements need to be made for Breilyn". She told me it was company policy but wasn't able to show me where in her company policy that was stated. So I had to uproot my child from the only "school family" she has known for the last 5yrs.
