We had a fantastic time sampling Kefi's wines and learning about the winery's history and process with Alexa. We tried all the wines and not a bad pour on the menu. You feel like you're sitting in someone's kitchen having good conversation over one...or several glasses of wine. This place does not disappoint and we look forward to spending more time there.

Family owned and operated Greek inspired winery. We enjoyed a nearly private experience having wine, cheese, prosciutto, pistachios, apricots, crackers and more. The owner's daughter welcomed and served us, sharing insight and friendly conversation. This was our second visit, and sure we will be back - a perfect afternoon visit from Columbia.

Ambiance was great! The wines were very good. We enjoyed all four of the reds we sampled. The charcuterie was exceptional - one of the best we've had. I'd highly recommend visiting. Very laid back, small venue, but such a fantastic visit.

Wow! I just moved here from a wine region of another state. I went to a disappointing winery nearby and was worried that all NC wineries were going to be bad but lucky for me I found Kefi!! The grounds are really pretty and you can enjoy the scenery from the outdoor patio or if it's too hot you can hang out inside the tasting room. The service here is fantastic! It's a smaller winery so the owners/family that runs the winery are the ones helping you and they are very knowledgeable. The wines are all delicious. You can't go wrong with any of them. Do a tasting and then get a glass or bottle of your favorite and enjoy with a charcuterie board. The boards are fresh, high quality, and tasty. They explain what items to pair with what wines to help you maximize your experience. Everything about this winery is excellent. I have already been back again and plan to come here on a regular basis.

Unique winery for North Carolina. This place is a little out there, but it's not as far out there as it initially seems. Not too far outside of Monroe, Kefi is a family owned and operated winery and vineyard specializing in Greek varietals and styles. They have a good assortment of reds and whites, including Negro Amaro, moschofilero, and assyrtiko. The family is delightful to talk to, and the grounds, wine, and setting are delightful as well. If you're in the area, stop in and give them a try. If you're not in the area, it's well worth a trip.

Kefi offers unique wines, beautiful grounds, and friendly staff. We had the pleasure of speaking with one of the owners who gave us great information on all of the wines and the history of the winery. At first I felt like the price was a bit high however after hearing the story and tasting I definitely found all to be worth the money. As someone who is not family with Greek wines, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will be returning!

We first tried Kefi wines at a wine tasting event in Mooresville last year. The wines were very good and we decided that one day we would make the drive to the middle of nowhere, south of Monroe, to try some more of their wines. That someday came on 22/April. Though it was an hour drive, I have to say it was worth it. The wines we tried were really good and the cheeses were savoury. The wines are made of European grapes that have been transplanted and appear to thrive in North Carolina. We bought a couple of bottles to bring home , a red and a white. This appears to be a family run business and it seems to be really taking off. I think the European grapes makes the wines unique amongst other wineries in the area. We think that they are better than most anyway. The service was attentive. We enjoyed speaking with Andreas , a native of Greece, tell us about his travels around the world and the US. The vineyard owner's daughter, Alexa, was also very courteous and attentive. She tells us that she wrote the welcome message celebrating her mother's dream to start the vineyard. The ambiance was serene and a great place to sit and enjoy the wine and scenery. We plan to return and bring others with us. Definitely worth checking this gem , off the beaten path, out.

A little hospitality goes a long way! We accidentally went in January when they were closed but were so fortunate that one of the family members was there doing vine maintenance. He let us sample a few open bottles and purchase some to take home and try even though the tasting room was closed. He was very personable and took the time to tell us about the history of the winery and the grapes. We will definitely be back when we can experience the full menu and vineyard/patio!
