It needs a lot of improvement , not very friendly people, had an Oder to the place skates were not very good shape

Let me first say that when I pulled into the parking lot I questioned if this establishment was even still in business because it looks very old & somewhat abandoned from outside. Once inside, I immediately noticed how outdated the carpet was in addition to being extremely dirty. (I mean, do they EVER vacuum???) I get out on the floor & within my 1st lap, I see several pieces of old chewed up gum on the floor, band-aids, bobby pins, and just dirt, dust, & debris. So not only does the carpet never gets vacuumed, the floor is never swept or mopped. Lastly, whenever you need refreshments, you have to go locate an employee from the other side of the rink. I hope & prat that the owners or management reads this review & makes an attempt to do better because rollerskating is making a comeback & there are very few options to choose from if you want to skate indoors. Get it together. PLEASE!!!

Welcome back to middle school. I took my nephew and little cousin skating here and it was a hot mess express. The floors are disgusting, the bathroom is disgusting. There are a bunch of printed signs at the door that are very intimidating. The music wasn't great either. The staff wasn't that pleasant. They were very rude to my cousin at the food area and they didn't provide a good explanation when I went to speak with them. I hope I never have to go there again. The building is easy to pass if you don't know where the rink is. Please don't expect much more than a room full of teenagers, loud annoying music and a very dirty carpet and floor. Went on a Thurs night this pass week.. I brought in my own skates so it was only $8. And it's an adults only night. DJ D-Smooth spin old school R& B and hip hop all night.. Since clubs and bars are closed. This is the closest we can do to listen to sole great music and "semi-dance"! Everything look clean. Staffs were helpful.. and the rink is well taken care of

Not the best location but the kids have a blast on a Friday night skating here. Yet I don't feel entirely safe

I went to Kate's for the first time on a Saturday night a few weeks ago. At first, we had a good time. We got rental skates pretty quickly and actually had fun skating and playing the various games on the rink.But it went downhill from there. Multiple fights broke out inside and the police eventually came. The building shut down around 9 so our time out got cut short. When we tried to leave the fights still hadn't died down completely and police were breaking teens up right in front of the entrance and where we dropped off our rental skates. We might have just had bad luck and went on an off night, but I really didn't feel safe after that point. If I went back again, it would be on a weekday when I'd expect it to be less busy.

This place is a dump period! Nasty smelly and the floor needs refinishing you literally can't skate without having to stop because of the nicks and broken floor. I wish I had listened to the reviews they need to refurbish this place or close it the floors are horrible my kid fell. The workers at the food court don't even wear gloves while handling food.. Its also sketchy we had an incident with a bunch of unaccompanied minors they came to our table and were harassing us then using racial slurs with other skaters the manager did speak to them but when she left they resumed the harassment. Go anywhere but here there are two other locations

It sucked ass, the skates were old and cracky and they don't even sanitize their skates like the one in Gastonia

Not a bad place but not super nice either the skates you rent are very clearly old and dirty and the place is sorta dirty no matter where you are but not nasty nasty dirty just unclean type dirty, the food isn't too good but what do you except from a skating rink but it's fun to go with friends!

Giving them one star because no stars isn't an option. This place is literally trash and the people that work there are extremely rude. The place is disgustingly dirty and outdated. You can't even bring water because they expect you to buy everything from them. Who buys anything to eat or drink from such a dirty place???!!! On top of that inside the place is super cold because they don't turn on the heat. This place should be reported to the business bureau and closed!
