Jud's Restaurant

It's more of a diner I would say than a restaurant. If you go in with that in mind, the food is really good. The service is excellent and the staff is super friendly and efficient.They took a mean, bacon, burger, and have plenty of other offerings. It's an old restaurant, but kept very clean.

Great local restaurant. Service was fast & friendly. They accept credit, and cash only on the lunch specials. We ordered a couple cheeseburgers, fries, fish & chips meal (fish was flounder, not cod as listed on the menu) and a chicken tenders kids meal. Food was good, and prices were fair, $38 for all. Will def come back to check out breakfast.

Great place for a quick breakfast lunch or dinner. They have good burgers, and they serve Pepsi, the best soda. The waitress was quick, the inside was a little out dated but clean. It does have a tight dining area.

Stop serving breakfast at 10:30 AM and start serving lunch at 11. Bummer. Seems like a dive diner with likely very good food. But on a Sunday it you arrive at 10:40 don't expect breakfast.

Best breakfast in town!!! I hadn't been here until recently and have come 3 times in the last 6 weeks. Def worth the 35 min drive. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. We tried dinner a few weeks ago and it is just a good as breakfast! Super yummy food, awesome staff and consistently good food. If you haven't been to Jud's, you need to give them a try!

Stopped in for the first time for lunch with my daughter and her toddler. It's going to be a big no for me. My fried fish sandwich and turnip greens were ok - nothing to write home about. We were seated in the back and our waitress never came by for refills or anything. As a matter of fact, I finally took our see-through empty glasses to the front and asked for refills.

We drop in Jud's Restaurant occasionally when in Monroe.Jud's has home style cooking.Their plate lunches come with a plenty.On several trips we have enjoyed country style steak and mashed potatoes,green beans or collard greens and some good cornbread.We also had their mac&cheese.Pinto beans and fried chicken.Sometimes we get together with some of our family we have in the Monroe and go in for supper.Normally my go to is their Hamburger Steak with grilled onions.They do a great job.Sometimes on the weekend we have gone in for burgers and fries.We have never been disappointed on any visits to Jud's Restaurant is good comfort food.We have never had breakfast there so I can't be much help on it.Maybe soon we can have breakfast.

I was visiting my family while in Monroe we had breakfast there. I was very disappointed the restaurant wouldn't serve an elderly Mexican couple. The couple was there when we walked in and when we were leaving the couple was still there. They were confused as to why they hadn't received their food. I regret not helping the couple. I was very guy disappointed at the prejudice

Went in today for lunch. Ordered a Chef Salad with a hamburger patty on top. Had a soft drink. After getting my ticket and paying my tab was $19.67.

Won't go back to such a crowded, mediocre place. Nothing outstanding to report! Was relieved to walk out for some fresh air!
