Juanita's Bakery & Grill

Stopped in for a quick bite (just ordered the cheese and beef empanadas). Amazing empanadas, very friendly staff, well worth searching for.

It was our first time buying food from Juanita's the lunch special is very fulfilling and authentic. We had the Roasted Pork Ribs lunch special, an order of sweetplantains to go very well packaged and felt the portion size is decent. We also ordered a chocolate cake it was very good. We had bought authentic Dominican cake from them in the past at another location. Plenty of parking and location can be tricky, pay attention.

Exploring our new neighborhood we came across Juanita's Bar and Grill and decided to give it a try. Upon entrance it was very clean with music playing. The woman that assisted us was very sweet amd the food came out quick, delicious and hot! We ordered the lunch specials which were only $11.99. I got the pork with rice amd beans and my boyfriend the stew chicken. We were obsessed with the plantains, beautifully cooked. I spoke with the woman in front briefly who said that they originally opened in 2019 and then soon after of course COVID-19 happened. This fortunately was a blessing in disguise for them because during this down time they had the chance to put back into their business and do some remodeling to get ready for reopening. We enjoyed our food and will definitely be regulars!

I'll pass the spot one day while driving down the highway. I completely misinterpreted the name, but oh well I'm here now. So they have a wide variety of food to try. as I'm looking through the menu I'm explaining the only thing available is what's on the special for today. Today's special consisted of fried pork chop, stewed chicken, and ribs. Then I'm also informed that the only thing they actually have right now is stew chicken. So of course I ordered the stew chicken. I'm also informed that they are out of rice but can give me plantains as a replacement. No biggie. The fried plantains were good but definitely need some type of seasoning on it. The stewed chicken was also good. In place of the salad I ordered french fries. I was in the form that they are out of french fries and I could have yuca french fries. No biggie, I never had you can fries so I might as well try it. The you can fries taste like they would have been a heck of a lot better with seasoning. I didn't care for it at all. I don't know if this establishment just opened but I'll be willing to give them another try...... After they restock on food.

I Just had the pork ribs for lunch. Order came with 2 ribs (could have ate 4 or 5) which were delicious and rice with a bean sauce which was pretty good for dipping the ribs and to pour on the rice. The French fries were good if you don't like them crispy and a little mushy. I will most likely return to try something else.

The best food! Authentic, Fresh, Hot and Tasty! The owner is there and makes mostly everything! Family environment!

Good, I got the stewed chicken lunch special and it was very tasty. The place wasn't crowded when I came around 12:15. It's in a little tucked away area off Brookshire. I will be back for the Tres Golpes (Dominican Breakfast)

Good food but the portion is for toddlers. Pfft......The amount of food for the price is insulting. I'll stick to going to other Caribbean food places because they really know how to stack your to go plate. You know we like to eat so why so stingy with the food.

Good food, friendly service and clean and inviting atmosphere!! We'll be back. The empanadas are definitely worth the trip

Is so Spencer food ...I visited 2 times was order the special in the menu..is a little high when order different food the cost for the plate is over $25 and is the same beans rice and salad and they account the beans ..the price is like 5 star restaurants and the quality is like 1 star......
