Birthday feast! Healthy wait but only made us more hungry and excited. It met all our expectations. The guys slicing the brisket proudly organize the tray and touch the presented brisket with beef jus. The pulled pork was amazing and their sauces were great. This is definitely a destination dinner.

10's across the board!! DO NOT leave this place without trying the brisket and beef ribs!! Best we've ever had in our lives.Do yourself a favor and read some reviews before your adventure. I'm so glad I did! We got there at 8:45 and ate around 1:30. Everyone lines up outside in their yard chairs, awaiting the 11:00 am opening. Koulaches are served from the food truck at 9:30 and they sell out *quick*. I got in line at 9:50 and several koulache flavors were already crossed off their menu. They fill up the free beer cooler every 45 minutes with local beer. Limit 2 beers per customer but it is an honor system. Just bring your own like we did. Some items you'll need: Yard chairsCooler packed - alcohol is permitted Umbrella/tent for shade (or a rainy day)**Paper plates, extra silverware, napkins/roll of paper towelsTupperware from home Some people brought cards & games to pass the time**They give you butcher's paper but we found that my extra paper plates worked better. Also, it was so easy to pack up leftovers in tupperware I brought from home. Otherwise, you have to go back inside and ask for to-go containers. It truly is a BBQ tailgate extravaganza! Take the time to enjoy yourself, make friends with your neighbors, and work up an appetite! I cannot say enough good things about this place. Can't wait to go back.

Was craving some barbeque and stumbled upon this restaurant on tik-tok! I arrived around 2:40 PM. There was a short line outside - even though the line wasn't too long it moved S-L-O-W-L-Y. It took approximately 40 minutes to finally get inside the restaurant to order food. A cooler is outside for customers to grab a free beer! They are only open on Saturdays from 11 am until they sell out of food. Whenever they sell out of items, someone will come outside and write it on the outside of the front door. A friend and I ordered a little bit of everything ... pulled pork, brisket, turkey, burnt ends, mac-n-cheese, jalapeno cheddar grits, baked beans, and coleslaw. Price racked up quickly lol! Highly recommend this restaurant. Definitely come when they open or even a little earlier.

Me and my cousin's have been following them on IG since last Summer and finally were able to make the drive out. Needless to say, we will be back! Everything was amazing, flavorful and the best part was the customer service! The hostess came around early to get a head count and provided great recommendations and she was able to work some magic in the end for us regarding the amazing beef ribs. Get there early, bring chairs, bring your best crew and enjoy!

10/10 by far! They have a cult following and there is a strong reason why. I've only had the food truck and am hoping to get out to Peachland asap for the true authentic experience. Best brisket I've had in Charlotte by far, the turkey was moist and delicious and you can never go wrong with their sides. My personal favorite is the jalapeño cheesy grits, like nothing I've had before. The team is always so friendly despite having to get through crazy long lines! Plan ahead and get yourself some very good BBQ

We made it to @jongsbbq in Peachland, NC and it def was worth the wait!! We've tried all kinds of bbq along NC and can't seem to find the one that's made for us until recently. We tried their pork ribs, beef brisket, pork brisket, jalapeño cheddar sausage dogs, cheerwine dogs, smoked Turkey and almost all their fixin's. Everything was tender and moist. They even gave us 3-4 different bbq sauces to try out. Next time we will be there earlier to try the beef ribs and we will bring chairs and umbrellas for the wait. The lovely thing about them other than the food was.... Friendly service/staff, great out door games and beer as you wait. Bonus: outside bathroom with a/c. We love @jongsbbq

Top shelf experience!Cute "hole in the wall" spot. Got there about 8:30, there were about 10 people in front of us. You bring a chair and they bring out complimentary beer at about 10 (it's gross af but free, and beer lol).Jon G personally walked us around, incredible dude, super friendly and happy to share his art. Really enhanced the experience before we even walked thru the door. At about 9:30 they ask what you would like to gauge and inform folks in the back of the line of what may be left. Beef ribs (aka Dinosaur ribs) are in very short supply, get there early if you want em. Everything was great. The top hits and MUST haves are the beef ribs and the Mac/cheese. The ribs truly melt in your mouth, each one is about a 1lb and can easily fill you up. The brisket is normally my favorite bbq around, but their beef ribs really shine. Bacon pork belly burnt ends are good, but if you are coming for the best just go beef rib and leave happy. Couple of tips....get there at 8:30-9 if you want beef ribs. You can arrive late (they open at 11) but either way you are waiting 2.5 hrs to eat and then have less selection. Bring a chair and they do have restrooms. The wait is actually very much like a tailgating experience.

Went for an early Father's Day adventure. Drove from Wake County 2+ hours. Food and experience so worth it!!! Will go again for sure!!Stars of the meal-Beef brisket-beef rib and spare ribs are incredible! Hard to name a best as everything was delicious. If you're planning on going please remember that it's only Saturdays and try to get in the line before 9am. Tail gate atmosphere and that culminates to an amazing meal!!
