Outstanding food, alcohol selection. Great service! Be advised that there are some malcontents that give this place bad reviews.

Great food and drinks. The burgers rock. Great atmosphere for a beer or just a night out.

We traveled to Charlotte today for family time and found this restaurant near our destination. We got to town early and decided to eat. I got the bruschetta and mozzarella sticks. The bruschetta was on bread that was very soft in the center with crispy edges. It was perfect. Huge slice of mozzarella, which was made in house. On top of that was the diced tomato glazed with balsamic. The mozzarella sticks were crispy. They gave me a basket of complementary garlic knots, which were absolutely amazing with homemade marinara sauce. They have a large selection of beer, wine and liquor with 18 local drafts on tap. The staff was super kind and brought me a box for my leftovers with smaller containers for the sauces. This place is super nice inside with several televisions and music. The bar area is my favorite. Two appetizers and three beers with the knots was only $40 bucks! Well worth the stop.

My husband and I were really, really impressed with this place. Friends recommended it. We tried several of their cocktails and had the garlic knots with homemade marinara sauce. Service was amazing. Our waiter and the bartender truly went above and beyond. We got a ribeye with sides as well as the Chicken Picatta. Both were top-notch and unlike anything you can get in the area. They have a real chef in the kitchen. We had lots to bring home & are already excited to go back! There's a "family side" and a "bar side." We're definitely taking our 6-year-old daughter next time, as the area is super nice and there are kid-friendly options on the menu.

A hidden gem worth your time. They have everything and make fresh bagels, pizza and provide a solid experience for all. From babies to geriatrics, you'll have a great meal here in a family friendly setting.

FABULOUS! We discovered John's Place this evening! My husband and I had the Shrimp Scampi and our son had a chicken dish. DELICIOUS! Everything was superb! Loved the complimentary garlic knots. Peyton B provided wonderful, attentive service. We sat outside on the patio and the weather was perfect. I must admit it's a bit confusing that both John's Place and Mario's Italian Restaurant the same entrance/building and offer the same menu. Do you want a bar atmosphere? Then you dine in John's Place. More of a sit-down family atmosphere? Then it's Mario's you want. No matter, we will be back! Thanks for a wonderful evening.

I've eaten here a few times and just not impressed. The food is average at best. Now they want $50 per adult for Mother's Day brunch. No way...

We asked to be seated on the patio. The food, service and ambiance were great. The pizza, pasta and salad were all very good. They have a decent beer selection too! We will return.

This was the first time my fiancé and I have eaten here and it was great! Myles was amazing the best server. The food was really good and flavorful. I got the vodka penne and my husband got the Montana pizza and we were thrilled. Great service and great atmosphere!

Never a good experience. Tonight was awful. Mario's was busy so we were asked to eat at John's Place. Big mistake. Service and food was horrible.
