Johnny's Mexican American Bar and Grill

Seemed like a friendly place with lots of regulars, but the service was incredibly slow and the food was mediocre at best. Maybe as a bar it's better, but if you're looking for more of a restaurant experience, ehh... go in with realistic expectations.

Was hoping to try good Mexican since were new to town and not much is open on Sundays besides fast food in Lincolnton. Would have liked to try this place. IT CLOSES AT 9 pm on SUNDAY.Waitress went over to the cook and she gave us some stank face from inside the kitchen.. I didn't even have an appetite after that. There was like 3 guys total in this Bar, one of which was leaving. Not sure if I want to come back. Politely told the waitress they should fix their posted business hours.

My wife and I and son have been coming here three or four times a month for the last several months. We have ordered something different every time we eat. We've also brought takeout home a couple times. We have never been disappointed they have great tasting food and awesome service. Chicken wings, pizza, salads, burgers and Philly cheesesteak we all excellent!!!!Stop in and see what you've been missing!

First time getting food from here and did take out. Ordered the authentic taco and it had cheese and no cilantro. No where on the menu did it say cheese. Also ordered the chimichanga it came with no lettuce tomato or onions like it said on the menu and it is just filled with steak beans and rice. The steak in the chimichanga and taco was Wayover cooked and dry. The kids menu says that you get something sweet with a kids meal we did not get that and did not realize Ontell home. Tater tot's were definitely cooked twice or just burnt. Overall nothing was greatAnd would not go back.

Johnnys is a great little place just outside of Lincolnton. The food has always been fresh and the service is always great. It is more of a bar scene but is kid friendly as well. I believe if the location were better and had better parking, the business would thrive more with improved exposure. Definitely a place worth stopping in if you're in the area.

Amazing restaurant in the middle of nowhere. From the Long Island iced tea, to the shrimp tacos, wings and taco salad, everything was excellent. But the game changer was the chicken parmigiana sandwich; huge country fried chicken breasts made to perfection. I'm from the northeast and can say without question, that was the best chicken parm I've ever eaten. Great food, great prices, great ambiance. We're living in Charlotte, but we'll make the trip back to Lincolnton again.

Johnny's is a great place for tex mex generous portions and great atmosphere. The owner was actually bringing food to the table. She was very friendly and very informative with telling us different things to try. We will be back soon probably on friday night for the live music. The food prices were very fair and the beer prices were very reasonable

Love this place! Great food and very clean! Nighttime has a great DJ and good sized dance floor
