Johnny's Barbeque

This place used to be really good. It's no where close to being the dining experience it once was. We were seated immediately. Our orders were taken reasonably soon after that. Our food was a little slow coming out. Our server never returned to table. She never filled our drinks. She never checked if everything was okay. We saw her talking to her coworkers a lot. We both ordered a barbecue sandwich and a side. The barbecue was okay. Mine had two hunks of fat on it that I had to pick off. The baked potato was dehydrated(I needed more butter and sour cream). I always hate to see good place like go downhill. Even their sanitation grade has bottomed out. If they really cared they could probably bring it back up.

Really better than reviews show. Large clean restaurant with booth and table seating. Large private lot parking. The service was fast and friendly. The menu was large with lots of choices and daily specials. My pic was the chicken philly sandwich which came on recommendation. The sandwich was nicely toasted with grilled chicken onion and mushrooms. Very tasty. Fries were cooked nice and crispy as requested. Restrooms were clean and well stocked. When I'm in the area I will gladly stop again.

Restaurant is now ran by new ownership. Hoping the quality of food and speed of service would have changed better. But this restaurant did nothing to improve quality of food, speed of food and service.. the home fries had rotten pieces in them. The servers never refill drinks slow food has no flavor. How can you up breakfast? They found a way to do it. Don't recommend this restaurant. There are other spices menu outdated.

This place was a great local place to eat it truly is not the same since John fisher past away the orders are not complete the fries taste like seafood the barbecue is the worse quality ever chunks of fat and gristle

The pancakes were really good. Service was great! The cook gets a thumbs up! The bathrooms were nice.

The food is delicious. Quick and friendly service. You can't pass through Rockwell without stopping in to try this place!

I love this place. It's my comfort zone. They have a great variety on the menu. It's pretty much a standard diner with emphasis on bbq. I love the orange tables. They have the pebble ice I love. It's usually pretty quiet and private. Lots of dessert options. ​

This used to be one of the best places if the Rockwell area to eat but it has gone downhill. The waitresses ignore you and when they do finally take your order you only see them again when you go to them and ask for something. Then they act like they don't want to be there. Also the food oh my word it was around 9.00 for a cheeseburger and fries. The burger, I kid you not, was the size of a regular McDonald's cheeseburger and they were out of fries. I would not recommend them at all. The burger was thin and burnt. My son got all you can eat BBQ but they never came back to see if he wanted any. I used to love going here now I know why it's dead most of the time anymore.

Their specials are better than their standard menu options. Last time I went my hot wings were so dry and overcooked. The staff are the saving grace since they are so nice.

This is a nasty place to eat. It's always dirty. I knew someone that used to work there. She said there was food she thought she was supposed to throw out. They said no we serve that to the customer. I'll never eat there again. Plus there's cockroaches.
