Johnny Ray's Smokehouse exceeded my expectations! The portions were incredibly generous, ensuring you get great value for your meal. The wait staff was not only attentive but also exceptionally charismatic and kind, adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere.The food was outstanding, with every dish bursting with flavor. The dry rub wings were a highlight for me--they were shockingly tender and seasoned to perfection. If you're looking for top-notch BBQ with great service, this is the spot to visit!

Eddie Z here again.had 2 burgers that were both way overcooked. Shared some chic wings that were as well way overcooked.best part of lunch was my salad.

Authentic Texas barbecue and superlative Texan Shiner Bock beer was a heck of a great surprise to find after visiting Foothills Shooting Complex! Got the sampler as it was my first time. All great. Will return to try ribs!Awesome!

Well, for our first visit... they knocked it out of the park. The cheese curds were delicious. Sweet tea awesome! The pulled pork and brisket were the bombdiggity. The service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. However, the wait was a bit much, no lie, it was long. And, the "waiting room" the old sofas kinda stink. But, other than that it was an enjoyable lunch. Definitely recommend but go early.

The cowboy quesadillas are amazing!!! They definitely do not skimp on the meat and the sauce adds the best Smokey tangy sweetness!

Johnny Ray's Smokehouse is a country smorgasbord of meats and sides. It's a culinary delight in comfortable farmhouse-feeling digs in Fallston. Everything we've eaten is fresh and filling, and the people are always nice. The food comes out quick too!

A true gem worth the drive. No corner cutting and great service. The value here is impossible to beat anywhere else and the options cater to everyone, given it's an Onsite bbq smokehouse operation, not a salad bar or sushi place. The fried cheese curds and smoked wings were the reason I'll return regularly now. Everyone has strong opinions about meat and sauces so I'll be productive and just say the beef and pork on the generous sampler platter are perfect in how they're prepared and leave it at that. Not too much smoke, juicy and made to order. Ask for the "Weenis Plate" and have a High Life Pony bottle while you wait!

I came all the way from S.C. to eat here because my sister said they had the best BBQ around. I ordered a large pulled Pork plate with ff and slaw. The BBQ was dry but had a good flavor, the slaw was the best I've ever had. The only problem I really had was the service was Terrible, the wait staff were the most unfriendly people, nobody smiled or even said thank you. I won't be back!

I was really looking forward to try Johnny Ray's and had heard good things about it. But sad to say I was not impressed. I love barbecue, especially brisket. I got the chopped brisket plate with hush puppies, white slaw, and a side salad. The brisket had no flavor, no evidence of seasoning/a good bark on it. There was nothing noteworthy of the bbq sauce that came with it. It tasted like Sweet Baby Ray's and not a signature homemade sauce. The hush puppies tasted stale and were bland. I didn't taste the slaw so I can't comment on that. My side salad was probably the best thing I had. On a positive note, our waiter was friendly and very attentive throughout our lunch.
