Johnny B’s Grillhouse

First time coming here I got takeout, I got an egg and cheese sandwich with lettuce and tomatoes it's always nice being able to customize the sandwich my way! I would highly recommend anyone ordering takeout to call in the order or place it online, it does take a while I did go on a Friday afternoon and it was busy, rightfully so though the food was amazing! It's cozy on the inside and from what it looked like it was fairly quick service on the inside despite it being so busy

Pleasantly surprised about how good our meal was at Johnnys. We had an impromptu Sunday breakfast around 11am and Didnt wait at all. We were Seated at a clean table as soon as we walked in and our food was hot and ready within 10 minutes of ordering. Waitress was quick and professional!Biscuits and gravy were really good. Fresh biscuit and sausage gravy was perfect consistency. Has browns were crispy!Western omelette was cooked perfectly and was loaded with toppings! Thick crispy bacon was a perfect side to go with this. Looking forward to our next meal at Johnny B's

Ok - 1st time here. Way cleaner and cuter than I was expecting - 2 lunches with 1 soft drink and a water was $20.01 before tip. Service was great, place is cute, food came out fast. This place is hidden behind Sheetz in a spot I never have reason to go to. I kept seeing the sign when I was getting gas. This place is adorable and affordable. I asked if it was a standalone or owned by another restaurant group. They said owned by 1 dude. Great stop - check it out.

The service today was good ,And it saddens me that I was here 3 or 4 days ago and had a great experience but today the food was not it I ordered a chicken parmigiana sub and it was not at all what I was expecting from here it was made with pieces of chicken nuggets not ok 2 out of 10The triple decker club was ok 6 out of 10The fish and chips had no flavor at all just taste like saturated oil 4 out of 10 But the french fries was crispy and tasty 10 out of 10 We also shared a strawberry shortcake, 10 out of 10Please don't let this one review give you any negative thought about this spot they are always on the money but like every other business sometimes they have a bad day I will not stop coming here I will come again and try different foods

Oh boy, I didn't wanna rate them low. We've been here two times before and had excellent experiences each time. But this evening...not so much! It was crazy busy on a Friday night, and I understand that means there can be a bit of a backup in the kitchen. But tonight they were totally overwhelmed. After waiting for a table to become free, we were taken over to ours, which was right next to the bathroom. I have a thing about seeing people marching in and out of the bathroom and the doors constantly swinging open, but I was hungry and didn't want to wait longer. But I should have, given the "slow factor" here today. I saw a stream of guests going to and from the rest rooms. Our waitress was sweet. She got our water quickly and promptly took our orders, but then got caught up taking many other orders. Hubby's mini salad came with onions after he asked not to have them. Then an extra long wait without food or a check in. My chicken kabobs were drier than the last time I had them here. Hubby's meal looked good. But I realized late in the meal that the tastiest part, the corn muffin, was never delivered. I did ask for one to go. The slowness was the thing that bothered me the most. But the food wasn't awesome enough to make up for it this time. Will we return? Yes, but not at 6 pm on a Friday.

Called in a Togo order, my food was ready for pick up on time and correctly placed. But the food was pretty gross just due to the simple fact it was just saturated in fatty grease. With no napkins in the bag - I had no choice but to wipe my greasy hands on my work pants... Plus, there wasn't much to my "thinly sliced" Philly cheese. The steak was thinly sliced. However, there just wasn't much on my sandwich to begin with. I also paid for and received a side of fries. They tasted like the grease and no seasoning. Nothing except the flavor of grease. I paid an extra 1.25 to only eat a few fries because they were just nasty. Just sloppy food honestly for the price if I was the owner I wouldn't want to put my stamp on it.

Johnny B's serves 3 meals day, with lunch service beginning at 11:10, I just found out - no notice of that on website or door. This is not a really big space, somewhat narrow rectangularly shaped, the booths and tables are closely packed in most areas - you will hear your neighbors conversations, like it or not! I settled for Steak & Soft Scrambled Eggs, White Toast, Shredded Hash Browns. The steak was out very quickly, right at 10 minutes. It was done more than the medium rare I requested, but was tender and had great flavor. The eggs were perfectly soft scrambled, & the hash browns were tasty. There was a single slice of toast, bit on the cheap side - standard for diners in the area is 2 slices - I mean dang we're talking white loaf bread here!Some what of a mixed bag here on the initial visit, but more good than not, much potential, nicely varied menu. Will make a return visit for lunch now that I have learned more about how they operate. As they sing on the opening scenes of "The Music Man" - you gotta know the territory!!!

Friendly greeting. We were seated immediately. I had the Bacon/Grilled Chicken with Swiss cheese sandwich, and some of their homemade chips. All of the food was tasty and met expectations! I would go again.

You get what you pay for which can be good or bad. The first meal I got to try out Johnny's and I got the fried chicken special that came with 2 sides. I got mashed tatters and broccoli. In my opinion it was sodium overload. The gravy was very salty that was topped with bacon which just added even more salt. Also the gravy was like a chicken gravy which was made probably from the access fried chicken grease which explain the salty. However I like cream based gravy or added cream to smooth out the flavoring. The tatters almost tasted boarderline box but it appeared it had some smashed potato in there so it might have been wrong. I went again and got a burger, the cowboy. It has onion straws and bbq sauce w/ bacon and it was not bad. Similar in taste to Cin Cin burger but half the cost. The burger did not come with a side, at least I had to pay for fries at $1.30 or so. Totaling $10. The girls at the front aren't overly nice but not mean or unpleasant. The Resturant looks modern and fairly new but I believe it's been there a while. Overall it's not bad, for the price it's worth trying other items, I want the pizza next time. Of course as I always say...go try it for yourself

Upon entry everyone was pleasant and seated our party of four immediately for dinner. The special of the day "pot pie" was sold out at 4:30pm. Once choices were made we waited approximately 20minutes for our food to arrive. The food is large portions! Saratoga chips were cold, while the French fries were fire!!! Fish n chips was ok; overly battered. My mushroom & Swiss burger was cooked perfectly. My husband's Philly steak was pretty dry. We never saw our waitress again once the food was served. The restaurant was clean and bright. I would try again maybe lunch this time .
