Jewell Treats

My sister and I ordered 4 Sweet Potato pies for Thanksgiving. The pie crust was super thick, which wouldn't have been a problem if it wasn't thick and raw. When contacted regarding the raw crust, I was told that I could have fixed it by putting it in the oven. I requested a refund for the pies and was denied. In fact, I was sent screenshots of good reviews from other customers and told that all the pies are baked the same. As an event planner, this was the worst customer service I've experienced.I also ordered a cake, which I didn't love, but realize it may just be my taste. And the pie filling was very bland and did not taste good.Taste aside, I don't expect to have to "fix" a food product, by actually cooking it.

With a co-worker's birthday, and limited options for desserts/treats in Uptown, I was happy to find Jewell Treats on Yelp. I arrived mid-afternoon and they have a wide variety of options to select from, including your standard or basis, chocolate and vanilla, to some more fun ones, peanut butter, cookies and cream and red velvet. I got a 1/2 dozen, typically $3.00, with a good variety, vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and red velvet. The cupcakes were so light and fluffy you could tell them were made fresh that day. However, I will agree that although the frosting is good it is sweet and can take away from the flavor of the cupcake. Overall I was very happy and will definitely consider Jewell Treats again.

I LOVE some Jewell Treats Did I say I LOVE some Jewell Treats ??We first was introduced to Jewell Treats at an event at the Gannt center in about 2014. We were impressed with the FREE samples and inquired and was told that we could find them in SouthPark mall outside of Nordstrom at their kiosk. We would make frequent trips to SouthPark just to indulge in the yummy sweet potato cupcake, Strawberry cupcake, pecan tart and more. I've even used Jewel Treats for events to handle our baked goods. The taste is definitely 5 star taste and flavor, I am only giving 4 starts because of price and accessibility with the new location being here in uptown (not that new I think they have been there for 2 years by now) also the fact that I live SOUTH south Charlotte and when I order I haven't been able to get my items delivered to me all the way to my home it's always a meet up situation which isn't cool as I would like door service if it's said to be offered. Anywho, GO HERE TODAY, Tomorrow or this weekend you won't be disappointed.

I decided to finally give this place a try, although it's a bit out of my way and I'm not a fan of anything in Uptown as parking usually sucks. We got lucky and found parking right out front of the Hearst Building which is where Jewell Cupcake is located on the 3rd floor next to Showmars. The building itself is nice and there's lots of security all over the place! We got there pretty early and were excited to try their cupcakes, but the young lady working in the front was utterly depressing! She barely made any eye contact, never greeted us, didn't engage us, didn't make any recommendations, definitely didn't smile. The energy in the place was very depressing it felt like we walked into a funeral home. As for the cupcakes I was not impressed, which blows my mind as to why they would have someone working there with such a shitty personality. I definitely wouldn't recommend or return.

I ordered cupcakes from here for a company party. They were so good! I asked for a variety of cupcakes. My favorite was the carrot cake one but loved the red velvet cake as well. Everyone loved the way they were decorated! Also, so thankful for the nice lady who brought my cupcakes out to my car. Curbside pickup in uptown is a lifesaver!The only drawback is the size of the cupcakes versus the cost. $3 is a little high for such a small cupcake.

Anytime you use beets in your strawberry cupcakes and I can't even taste them, I am down for the cause. Jewell Treats has opened their 2nd location in uptown Charlotte in the Hearst building, right beside Showmars. If you've ever tried her cupcakes at the Southpark location, you know she uses natural ingredients for coloring, etc., for some of the yummiest, healthy cupcakes around. Give them a try if you're in the uptown area.

A good friend who knows that I am a bit of a cupcake connoisseur recommended this Bakery to me. I try to eat as healthy as possible and the fact that she uses organic ingredients was a big sell for me. I contacted Jewels Treats for travel-themed baby shower cupcakes and cake...and I was very satisfied with what she provided. Not only was it beautiful and suitable for the theme, everything was absolutely delicious! Everyone raved about how moist and delicious everything was. I intend to order again for my daughter's upcoming birthday. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

New in town and was looking to order cupcakes for my granddaughterbirthday, let me start by saying that Ms. Jewell was so nice and accommodating to this last minute order due to a previous baker canceling on me and a Super store bakery was not an option, not only was the price reasonable the cupcakes were delicious and moist and everyone loved them! Thank you Ms. Jewell for saving the day!

Jewell Treats has absolutely delicious cake and excellent customer service! I ordered cake pops for an office party, and everyone loved them! She has so many cake flavors; they were all very tasty! Her customer service was great. She accommodated requests, confirmed the order with me before delivering, and super friendly upon arrival. I will definitely be using Jewell Treats for my future dessert catering!

I contacted Jewell's treat for some last minute cupcakes after other businesses told me no. Not only was the owner able to accommodate my order but the the cupcakes were amazing. I ordered some oreo, vanilla, and strawberry cupcakes and they were so moist and rich. I'm not a fan of most frosting but the frosting was so good. Everyone enjoyed them and we will be using Jewell's treats for future events.
