Jelly Donuts

I would rate a 4.5 overall. The doughnuts were light, fluffy and delicious! We had the bear claw, pine cone and a maple long john with chocolate filling. I loved the pine cone! So cinnamon-y and good! The chocolate filling was like a chocolate pudding almost and not frosting-like as I thought it would be and that was the only reason for the slightly lower than 5 review.Sorry, we ate them too fast for pictures. Ha!

I saw this place last week and with a donut loving husband I stopped in. The service manner is succinct, bordering on curt. The environment lacks ANY welcoming warmth or charm. They have an array of mugs and merchandise that is not for sale. Why would any store do that? The donuts are the reason for every season, and these are fresh, fluffy and they fill them to order with the filling of your choice. Raspberry, Strawberry, Vanilla Cream or Eclair Custard and Lemon (talk about customization :-). The donuts are HUGE, and very heavy so you definitely get value for your bucks. The jelly is not too sweet. Half a dozen is $12.99Though the donuts are nice, service and environment has too much lot room for improvement to justify anything more than this... Three.

These donuts are hands-down amazing. They make these donuts fresh in House and they are so light and fluffy. They have traditional and fancy flavors. My personal favorite is the chocolate frosted, they will add fresh Boston cream to the inside of it when you order! Is there a big fancy iced coffee here? No. But don't let that tutorial because you will not be disappointed. The donuts here are so much better than the "big box" store. The owners and workers are so nice and so helpful.

Oh my gosh! YUM! New fav donut spot. Fluffy, soft and delicious donuts. You can pick your donut base and then from a list of fillings and they fill it right in front of you. So good. I want to try them all. I tried the toasted coconut, lemon curd & raspberry (which wasn't my fav but I think I was expecting strawberry flavor)

kolaches... just gotta love a meat filled donut ;-) and it's way closer to lake norman than the other kolache place which is still way closer than Tejas. and it's not actually a meat filled donut, more of a meat danish except for their Czech-ered origins and Tejano upbringing. Jelly is another giant fluffy donut house in the northern climes with the now standard filling-filler for bun and long-john style pastries along with a variety of breakfast cereal topped offerings but there's some extra fun in the display case that make the journey worthwhiler: besides the aforementioned kolache in regular or spicier they have actual danish!! currently a choice of cheese or cherry + cheese, either way you can't go wrong.

My neighbors rave about this donut shop so it was time to check it out. Come to the counter and you'll see glazed, chocolate covered, sugar, and powdered sugar donuts waiting to be filled. I loved the option of selecting your filling and watching them fill the donut when you order.We tried the Bavarian crème, Apple, Strawberry, and Raspberry fillings - all were good. We didn't try the Danishes but that just gives me another reason to come back for a different treat.For about $2.50 a donut or about 12 for a half dozen you can quickly stop by, customize your donuts and be the family or office hero!

Possibly the best donut I've ever had. I particularly enjoyed the cereal options. Very reasonable prices and a great drink selection.

Calories don't count over at Jelly Donuts, the donuts are just that good! A cute cozy space with cute donut themed decor and the aroma of fresh baked goods. There were a variety of flavors to chose from, decisions-decisions. The staff were very help answering any questions. All the donuts we bought were delicious, nice and fluffy in the inside. Can't forget they were reasonably priced for such great quality. This location is near my job, put the word out about the new donut shop in town.

I have done years of research and can say with confidence- best donuts ever! I lovvvve frosting and being able to pick a flavor and have a treat filled to order is perfection. I will be back! #fgsThat they are family owned and local is a cherry on top!

Hands down.... best donuts in Charlotte with the most amazing service! You can pick your donut (soooo many options for flavors) and any filling you want. Always made fresh!
