Jack Brown's Beer & Burger Joint - Columbia

Were you ever hungry and had a taste for something specific then you go to a restaurant and it absolutely delivers? Well, that describes my experience at Jack Brown's. These are some of the absolute BEST BURGERS in the midlands. I had a double daily special "Jill Munroe". It's two beef patties that were then topped with whipped brie, bacon, hot honey and fried shallots. This combination SLAPPED!We had the opportunity to sit at the bar and the staff was amazing. We had dinner and a show as we watched both the person manning the fryer and the line cook handling the burgers. They were awesome to talk to while we waited for our food. The atmosphere is signature bar vibes. Tons of decor on the walls and even on the ceiling. Jack Brown's is a gem and I am looking forward to trying more burgers on their menu.

Loved the many beer choices, classic double burger, and fried Oreo from this place. The special sauce is what gives this burger the extra bonus. The service was top notch as well. I would definitely come back here when I'm in the mood for a burger.The Not your father's root beer is dangerously delicious if you like root beer and alcohol. Would get in trouble drinking to many of these...

Nice college bar. Tonight, open till 2am. Grabbed a few beers and a nice greasy cheeseburger cooked on a flat top. Bun grilled as well. Can't go wrong here. Beer is plentiful but liquor is limited.

Friendly atmosphere. Staff super nice. It's a bar that has good burgers. Fries cooked perfectly and burger not bad at all.

Stopped by for dinner while in town for a work conference. The service was great and the burger was very fresh and cooked perfectly. My only complaint is they don't have a full bar. It's mainly beer but they do have a few spirits. I also tried the fried Oreo for two dollars and it was delish! Highly recommend this spot for a chill night and a cool vibe. The music definitely gave it a bar vibe but you can definitely go solo and not feel out of place.

I came to Columbia bc my property was destroyed in the hurricane. This burger place was absolutely amazing. The decor super eclectic. Service was on point and great. Beer was amazing and their secret sauce was so palette seducing. Keep up the great work!

Holy cow! Jack Brown's Beer and Burgers proves that you don't need a million dollar fancy interior to serve GREAT tasting food and beer!!! We had the mushroom burger and it was beyond delicious and probably the best burger I've ever had in the multitude of continents and countries I've ever visited. The waitress recommended the Holy City Washout Wheat, based on our love of Hefeweizen beers, and it too was great tasting.

- [ ] My great nephew suggested Jacks Burgers and I agreed to treat. Let me tell you about these cold burnt burgers, I ordered for the first and last time. I ordered 5 burgers with fries and 2 mac-n-cheese sides. Did I mention that not one was served with customary LTO but they sent pickle spears with bites out of them. No lie. The smashed burgers were just burnt slivers of what now? They claimed it was Wagyu but Maury said, "That was a lie!" The mac/cheese sides were just a mouthful of regurgitated pasta, sprinkled with Great Value shredded che'ish. Don't believe me? Look at the pics I posted. #FACTS #DontDoIT
