Jack Brown's Beer & Burger Joint

I love this place when I visit Charlotte. The sticky nugs are the BEST. I heard they were not going to have them next month. They are missing the boat. People come for the sticky nugs (and great beer selection).

Not impressed at all...Burgers were small and pretty much basic. BJs sauce was ok for my tots, without it, they were tasteless. Food was brought to the table and i was given the wrong burger, found this out by biting into it. Brought it to the attention of the server, basically was told they wouldn't remake it for the other person i was with (even though the server told me it was the one i ordered, and it wasn't)....she basically stayed away from my table until it was time to drop off the check. I'm sure it's a nice place and lots of people enjoy it, I'm good on going back though. Wasn't the best experience for me.

Billy Jack's is one of those NoDa spots that just hits. It's a bar atmosphere, so great if you're just trying to chill, drink & eat good food while hanging out with your friends.If you're looking for a quiet spot to have great conversation with a friend, this isn't the place for you hahaha. It's pretty loud, but I love that kind of environment!The food is also pretty solid! I've had a few things on the menu, but what stands out to me is the waffles with sticky nuggs. A solid combo that will fill you up.Only reason I deducted a star is because it is kind of late night, bar food, not necessarily top notch cuisine. But stop by late at night when you got the munchies and you won't be disappointed in the service or the food!

We have been here several times and they never disappoint. The atmosphere and staff are always welcoming and friendly. In the past we have had their burgers and they are standout. Located in Noda, parking can sometimes be challenging. This time we had the macaroni bites and sticky nuggs. The appetizers are served in a carton for sharing. They have rotating craft beers, ciders and offer cocktails. A local bar worth visiting.

This is a really nice quick and easy spot to grab a bite and drink! I love coming here for the brunch and chicken bites. They're so good and the service is pretty cool too. I do love all the photos on the wall. It makes it look homey in here. I tried the firecracker chicken and waffles it was delicious! Highly recommend this spot!

I love their Cowboy burger, tots, and sticky nugs! Great place for a super casual meal or beer. Took a star off because I'd like to have more TVs in there so people can go hang and watch some of the games, there are only two tvs and one is in a kind of awkward spot.

Very quirky establishment in Noda. Right in front of Bargaritta Bar. Walked in, and we were able to seat ourselves right away. Waitress took our order quickly and efficiently. Towards the end, though, she did get flooded, so it took her a while to bring us our check. Overall, it was a great vibe, different types of people, and I love the quirkiness of this place. My friend ordered two sliders and fries, and they were delicious. Just the right amount of food to not get you overlly full. The fries were awesome. Just the right amount of crisp to them and the sauce was delicious. Reminded me of Yum Yum sauce. Overall, great place. Will definitely be returning.

Was FORMALLY a great bar in NoDa. Now your typical "2 guys and with a dream" bar with literally only burgers and nothing unique about the menu or establishment. They got rid of sliders, $1 PBR's, then sticky nugs, and then the name all in the span of 3 months without telling anyone or thinking about what made it worth going. Unfortunately, there is no reason to ever step foot into this place again as Jack Beagles or any bar on the street has better prices, food and variety.

Used to be a must visit while in NoDa. A favorite place for all the snacks, unique food, and mainly sticky nuggs. Switched to a sole burger restaurant with just a few sides. No other entree option, I would rather drink somewhere else if I can't get the cool snacks. Staff members didn't seem to like the switch either. Really will miss the sticky nuggs and unique menu.

USED to be so gooood the sticky nugs and mac and cheese bites were my go to everytime. Guess they switched management or something and changed the menu to just burgers, ended up just getting a drink and leaving last time so disappointed! Hope they listen to the feedback and bring these menu items back doubt i'll be going back here for a burger when pinky's isn't far and already filling that niche for me.
