We just moved to the area and went here Friday night, incredibly friendly service and great staff! The food was fantastic and affordable, great prices! It's no wonder it was one of the more popular Mexican spots we've been too. We will be back, can't say enough about our experience.

FANTASTIC place! First time being since here they changed name and management. Employees were super friendly and attentive. Sat outside on their patio, which was extra nice and had nice music playing. Ordered their quesadilla dinner, and my daughter order3d their Carne asada plate. They both were delicious! The steak was very well marinated in a steak sauce. Both plates were extra hefty and definitely leave you feeling full. Ordered their strawberry margarita with a Tajin rim, and it was delicious. Will be back for sure and try other items on their menu. There is plenty of parking and not busy on a Sunday around dinner time.

Decent no-frills Mexican food. This would normally be a 4-star review, but the affordable prices were much appreciated. Food was decent. Service was friendly enough. Enjoyed sitting out on the patio, where we dined later in the evening and had it all to ourselves. Kudos for bringing water for my dogs who joined us as well.

We just ate here for the first time. Being from San Diego I am a Mexican food snob... The carnitas was absolutely fork tender! After we left an employee came running to our car with our forgotten to go container. AWESOMENESS!!!

We've been to Izcalli multiple times since ownership/name has changed and we've never been disappointed! Today we went for a quick lunch- service was fast, as usual. We were seated quickly in a booth and brought drinks and chips and salsa right away! We ordered a margarita pitcher (hey, it's Friday). It came served in cute glasses with flowers and was delicious. My husband ordered the lunch chimichanga and it came out super fast and super hot! I ordered my usual, the lunch burrito deluxe with chicken and rice; tender chicken and great portion size for lunch. Overall, we've never had a bad experience here. The service is always fast and employees are always kind. Wish more people would frequent this place because we love having a neighborhood Mexican restaurant and want it to stick around!
