I recently discovered a hidden gem in Charlotte - a fantastic fresh seafood market! From the moment I stepped in, I could sense the cleanliness and freshness of the place through its inviting aroma and pristine appearance. The best part? They offer the option to fry any seafood of your choice, which is a delightful touch. I was specifically looking for fresh conch, and to my delight, they had it in stock. The friendly staff added to the overall positive experience. I can't wait to return for more seafood delights!

I needed several lbs of large shrimp for a southern shrimp boil, and they had just what I needed, at a fair price too. See the photo of what came of it.

Picked up some snow crab legs after calling to ensure they were available. The market isn't in what I perceived to be a great part of town so you would want to come earlier in the day. I paid $253 for three bags of frozen crab legs. We used two bags and it fed 6 people with sides. I think this prize was a little high but the crab legs were fresh and cracked easily. Overall, very happy with the purchase but the price was a bit higher than what I normally pay. They are open during COVID19 state shut down.

Staff wasn't really friendly. Had to get my own fish and basically had to clean it myself once i got home.

I love this place and its workers. Today, I tasted a world-class oyster (I bought 30 of them) and a cherrystone clam (I bought a dozen). The outside of the building is not inspiring -- it was a fast food location, but the inside contains far better seafood than you will find at grocery stores. You want Blue Fish? Yes. You want live lobsters? Yes. You want squid/calamari, tubes and tentacles? Yes. This is the most comprehensive seafood market in East Charlotte. And they will cook their seafood for you or let you taste the raw pieces as I did today. Any market that allows you to taste their raw seafood and who backs it up with a full guarantee is my company. Also seen today: Whiting, Flounder, Porgies, Black Bass, Mackerel, several kinds of shrimp, and so on. When in season, you can get cardboard boxes of crabs -- soup, anyone?

I googled places to find blue crabs in Charlotte, and this place came up. When I arrived they had a great selection of seafood. When we got the blue crabs in the bag, that's where things went wrong. They wanted nearly $30 for a dozen of very small female crabs. The crabs were so little, it looked illegal take them from the water. When I asked the cashier if we could get larger crabs he responded, "you get what you get". Needless to say, I did not purchase them.

This place is horrible! The fish is never fresh! It's like he unthaw and refreeze what he don't sell. The owner himself is rude! They hack at ur fish not cut it properly! It's never consistent, they sell u frozen fish claiming to be fresh! DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN!
