Lovely spot to meet your Indian grocery needs! The staff is nice and there's a small food corner that serves gol guppa, aloo tiki, and vada pav made to order. Stopped by for some snack items for chai and the shelves are well stocked with variety. Also got some henna cones which was convenient for my upcoming event. I would steer away from the gold wrapped cones though, the one I got ended up being super watery.

This location in Pineville has EVERYTHING you could possibly need to prepare an authentic Indian meal. It is a proper full service grocer that has it all (though I may have overlooked their butcher section). Tons of frozen including vegetables and full meals. Loads of dry goods and at least a dozen varieties of rice from small boxes to fifty pound sacks.Aisles and aisles of boxed and canned and jarred items. Sweets, savories, sauces, powders, veggies in bottles and cans.Coolers containing fresh produce and some unusual looking vegetables that I've not seen in the local Teeter. Again, if you're making an Indian meal then here's the spot.Everything had clear prices on it. Some of them a little high, but it is imported. That tends to add to the cost.The place is super clean and the service was friendly.

I had a wonderful experience here. I walked in with a list of four items I needed. I was approached by a lovely woman asking what I was looking for. I named the items, and she was able to find them all in under a minute. I was in and out in under two minutes. For someone on the go, I greatly appreciated the speed, knowledge, and customer service I received. Well done!

First time visit. The place was bright, clean and very well stocked. I wish I knew more about Indian food. I probably would have had a better appreciation for the place if I knew what half the items were. I popped in for Tahini but strolled through the isles for a better understanding of the place. They seemed to offer quite a bit of staple items, dairy and frozen foods. The fresh produce section was tucked in the back and quite small. I will say this however, they had Okra, at least that's what it looked like, that was so large, it was on the verge of being obscene. It made me giggle. Had the very nice employee not been strolling along with me, I would have snapped a photo. I think I will educate myself a little more on Indian cuisine and then venture back in. Hell, even if I don't educate myself, I'll go back for the Okra alone. hehe.

This store in Pineville can be reached easily, just off South Blvd. It just like the one in the University area, except a bit smaller. You will find anything related to cooking, health and yoga practice. I get my paneer cheese there, fresh produce (okra, cilantro), mango lassi, frozen bathura bread, ghee and spices. The prices are very reasonable. Be aware: There is a $10 minimum for card purchases.

India Grocers is now open in the university area. The store is big when compared to other stores in university area. The store is neatly organised and clean. The veggies are fresh comparatively. Staff are very humble and friendly. Kanam Dhokla is very tasty,

Clean and organized store. A couple of ladders were right in the way of shopping. The lady checking us out was on the phone the whole time, and not paying attention so we had to watch her like a hawk. That ruined our shopping experience. 2 stars - I've experienced better.

Covers all that we need for an Indian Grocery list. I would still prefer Patel for veggies because of variety. But rest of the packaged stuff is equal or lesser then Patel. It has some snacks for take away which is nice. Also there is lot of women Indian accessories that are available.
