First of all, I'm Greek and love this place. The ambiance is great, the service is great, etc. However, our last trip in wasn't great. We came in after a long day and ordered a chicken souvlaki and spinach pie to start, and eventually the lamb shank and lemon chicken. We were eating the appetizers, which were great, until the last bite. My girlfriend pulled a huge long black hair out of her spinach pie... literally the last bite. She was mortified and couldn't even say anything for a minute. We never said anything to the server because I think we were in shock. Oddly enough, the table behind us sent back some dips because something was in it, but I couldn't make out what... just heard the exchange with the server and patrons. Right after that, our food came out... and we ate it anyway. Both the mains were hair-free and delicious... we even took some home. I know this was out of the ordinary, but it's going to be a little bit before we can come back.

Came here for a special event. I had heard the lamb chops were good and yes, they were fabulous !!! I highly, highly recommend. I also got grape leaves and they were also very good. Several people got various items (see photos) and everyone was extremely pleased with their meal. Service was good, but a bit slow. I think our large group of approximately 14 people overwhelmed them a bit. This is likely some of the best Greek food in Charlotte. The other locations by the same name do not compare. They have outdoor patio seating. Atmosphere is pleasant.

I've been meaning to check out this place for while now, but for one reason or another, unable to...'til now. Surprisingly, the place looked well lived in (thought it was relatively new?), the place had a very warm and inviting vibe...and I even liked their overhead piano music.Their menu featured an unusual mix of Italian and Greek specialities. For me, at least, the appetizers were especially appealing. We ended up ordering 2 appetizers...Zucchini + Eggplant Chips and Calamari Fritti...and both were really good. Yet, not sure why they had to ruin the presentation by adding a layer of paper sheet to both of these appetizer dishes. Cheapened the look...at least to me! BTW, I really wanted to try their "Taste of Spreads" as well...but that was getting a tad too greedy. Maybe next time? For the entrees, I ordered the Capellini...and my husband got the Garganelli. Surprisingly, the portions were way larger than what I anticipated...but the flavor was a bit underwhelming. My Capellini was a tad better...which wasn't surprising, given its lofty price points. We liked...but didn't love our entrees. From what we ordered, we thought the appetizers were stronger than the entrees.Lastly, I enjoyed their Passion Fruit Mojito mocktail...very sweet and refreshing.Service was VERY attentive...exceedingly so! Our waitress was fine, but there were 2 busboys (male staff, that is) standing nearby, staring at the diners the whole time (did NOT like this!). Maybe it's just me and my pet peeve, but I've never been a fan of the waitstaff standing by too close and/or staring while patrons are trying to eat or have private conversations. I just find it rude and intrusive. Despite some annoying points, I really liked their eclectic menu...and thought it was a good, solid restaurant.

Big fan. Everything had so much flavor! Some stand out dishes include the saganaki appetizer, zucchini chips, capellini and lamb. They do lamb *very* well. As for everywhere in Charlotte, the prices are a little high. I wish the saganaki was a little larger of a portion for the money. 4 of us shared the appetizer and it was a small 1-2 bites each. The tzatziki sauce was incredibly fresh. I loved my capellini with the scallops. We had reservations and so glad we did because this place was totally packed on a Friday night. It was really crowded and noisy to be honest but it was fine for our small group outing.

I cannot say enough great things about our girls' night dinner at Illios Noche! The ambiance is great - casual and comfortable yet beautiful inside. Our waitress, Jodi (or Yodi maybe?) absolutely made our experience - she was so friendly, attentive and helpful with providing suggestions for food and wine. We started with the eggplant & zucchini chips, and Y'ALL, these are something I didn't know I needed in my life. Think of a super thin, fresher version of fried pickles but less acidic and dipped in the most flavorful tzatziki sauce. Also the portion was super generous and great for splitting. They were perfection. And they brought everything out so quickly and frequently came by to fill up our waters - we were all very impressed by the service!Entree-wise, my friends got the pasta dish with chicken (I tried it and was blown away - that pasta definitely looked and tasted homemade) and the chicken caprese panini (I didn't try it but it looked awesome), and I went with the lamb souvlaki skewers with a side of Parmesan risotto (the lamb was incredibly juicy and flavorful + it came with warm pita and more delicious tzatziki, and the risotto was delicious, if not maybe just a tad too rich/creamy to eat a lot of). I already can't wait to go back and try more of their Greek and Italian specialty dishes. This place is a dark horse and a winner in my book!

Met our friends here and everything was wonderful! Food excellent, service was awesome.

Great ambiance and staff, but eclectic Mediterranean food did not impress. We were a party of seven. The staff was great - checking on us and keeping waters full. The best dish was a red pasta dish (started with a "G"). Appetizer of tzatziki was delicious as well. My salmon was dry - very dry and as such had to chew extra on it. My wife had the lamb burger - but again it was dry and almost flavorless. Toppings were good but did not overcome the burger. Kids meals were fine. For those prices expect better quality meats and preparation. Facility has ample parking and situated conveniently to other facilities (I.e., Whole Foods, Harris Retters, etc...). Likelihood of returning is low. I would possibly come back for lunch but for sure no urgency.

Great place need to change the menu or at least have some specials. The avalemeno soupIs to die for. Great Greek ribs

Overpriced slow service and small portions. I won't be back. Waiter never brought the check after 20 minutes so I had to walk up front to pay. I won't be back
