So if you're in the mood for some authentic Jamaican cuisine, hummingbird to make a restaurant is just what you need. This location is tucked away in Concord, North Carolina, but it is quickly becoming well known because of their phenomenal dishes and the great service.Everything is fresh prepared to order, and the portions are plenty. I've had the curry chicken, the peas and rice and the stew chicken and nothing has disappointed me. I will be back for more

This was my first time coming to this restaurant. This is the beginning of a great relationship. I will be back. Mike helped us. He was as nice as the food. We ordered a few things. Everything was great. My husband loves the Rasta Pasta. He ordered a side of Jerk Chicken. It was seasoned to perfection. However, it gets hotter with each delicious bite. I ordered Curry Chicken, Rice and Peas, and Plantains. Good, all good. We got a side of Brown Stew Chicken, I'm so happy we did that. I think the Brown Stew Chicken is my favorite.

My husband and I went here to pickup food and we were unfortunately disappointed. While the staff was friendly, our food took a long time to come (typical of many Jamaican restaurants)-- but then once we got home, it was not very good.We ordered Mac and cheese, oxtails, peas and rice, curry chicken, and plantains.Everything was just okay at BEST. My husband finished his meal (oxtails and Mac and cheese with plantains)-- I couldn't even finished mine (curry chicken, peas and rice, plantains).While we won't be trying this place again, it might be worth trying-- if you order something else.

Second time eating at this restaurant. Got the large stew chicken with plantains today. The gravy looked a little weak and chicken was a little on the light skinned side but the taste was very satisfying. I'll definitely be eating there again

A hidden gem in Concord. So glad we discovered it on our quest for restaurants with vegan friendly options in the Charlotte area. The Vegan Rasta Pasta is amazing. Huge portions and friendly staff. Bravo.

Went to this restaurant after reading a review on fb. Got there about 11:30. To a while to get two oxtails meals with an extra stuff of oxtails but it was well worth wait! Do not expect more than three oxtails bones.. but they were large and tender. Mac n cheese was good, cabbage was just ok. Plaintains were good but they forgot the second order and I wasn't driving back 20 miles to get them. Service was good, slow but they were very nice. The place is small and clean. I would recommend this Resturant.

Great Food Great Service. We discovered this place about a month ago and have been stopping in regularly. My first order was the Escoveitch Fish when he said it was Red Snapper, I was excited, and it was really really worth the wait.Since then, I have eaten the Curry Chicken, the Jerk Chicken and most of the sides.
