I recently took a glass blowing class here, and it was an unforgettable experience. The studio is warm, inviting, and brimming with creativity. The instructors were incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about their craft. They took the time to explain every step of the process, ensuring everyone felt confident and safe while working with molten glass. What stood out the most was how hands-on the experience was--this wasn't just a demonstration; we got to create our own unique glass pieces to take home. The team made the class both educational and fun, with just the right balance of guidance and freedom to experiment.Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, Hot Alley Glass is the perfect place to ignite your creativity. I walked away with a beautiful piece and a newfound appreciation for this art form.

Fabulous experience with our date night glass blowing class! I made a pumpkin and my husband made a pint glass. Definitely need reservations and it's a treat to take a class where you learn together. Your price covers the instructions and making one object, the glass ornament is the basic design. We upgraded to the glass pumpkin and pint glass. Our instructor Cristian was amazing and patient and we had a wonderful time. They give you a drink and some snacks too. Such a wonderful experience and beautiful art!

If you're looking for a fun date experience or group experience, then you need to check out Hot Glass Alley! They have a ton of classes to choose from, live/weekly demonstrations and a gorgeous shop up front - perfect for gifts! My friend from college really wanted to do something fun and interesting for her birthday and we decided to sign up for Jake's Lemonade Tumbler class. And it was a ton of fun! The instructors walk you through the entire process and allow you to get your hands 'dirty' if you will by actually making your item. I also appreciate that the instructors give advice on the colors and designs depending on what you're going for. After your piece is done, it's allowed to cool down for several days. You can then either pick up in person or they can mail it to you if you're from out of town. Highly highly recommend adding this to your Charlotte bucket list!

MUST TRY GLASS BLOWING EXPERIENCE! It is definitely worth the price. We went to the valentines couple glass blowing night and the two of us worked with an expert to create our rocks glass and ornament. They taught us step by step how to create our pieces and helped us along the way. Such a unique and incredible experience! My pup also loved the outcome of the glass!

Cristian M was so patient and made great suggestions to have us involved, while still trying to make sure we got the best outcome. We did this as a girls group of 4 and had a great experience. Can't wait to pick them up next week after they cool. Great group function. You can watch while your friends create their masterpiece OR sit on the bleachers and watch overall, or just check out? We enjoyed watching each other and cheering each other on!! Cristian also was a great cheeerleader for the creations at hand. Thank you for the experience

After spending the evening at Hot Glass Alley last Friday, I signed up for one of the classes. The next day I went to my class and made an incredible purple and white swirled, heart shaped paperweight for myself. Sunny was my expert. She was so patient with me and explained everything, gave me so much information that I really felt good and safe about what I was doing. I mean, the oven was 2100 degrees! Knowing I was safe was a good thing!!! The feeling of being successful at doing something so unique was, for me, life changing. I just retired and this is giving me a whole new look at taking chances to see what all I can do.My purple heart is so beautiful and I will definitely be going back to make gifts for Christmas. Fun, Fun, Fun!!!

My husband and I came to do the "make your own" class. Lori was our instructor and she was just delightful to work with. I was pretty nervous but she really walks you through the whole process and is just awesome! We loved learning about the shop and how everything works. It was such a fun experience and I can't wait to go back. I highly recommend this experience and would love to take an advanced class. It's a therapeutic activity too and an amazing skill to learn/develop. Be sure to follow their instructions when you sign up for the class (wear cotton clothing, no jewelry, etc) since there isn't an email reminder. If you follow their Instagram you'll see lots of open demonstration dates and can watch the process- so fun! That may be a cool thing to do before going to a class. Thank you Hot Glass Alley!
