Cosy place for a Drink before dinner ... beer and wine flights galore. Wine shop also in store . Few little games available to play while you hang out. They also have heaters outside if your brave during the winter months!They have a nice selection of whites, reds and Rosè. My friend and I had the sparkling Rosè, which was nice and cold and you get the split bottle. Kinda would have been nice to have a cheese plate but they do have some snacks you can buy. Nice place to have a glass with a friend type of place. Casual nothing fancy. Glad I found it!

Exceptional craft , and ambiance curated by Casey himself! Wonderful live as well on the heart of Davidson! Great food and service is available within walking distance or for delivery.

What a gem for happy hour and beyond! My husband and I stopped in for a glass of wine for me and a glass of beer for him. It can be hard to find a location that puts equal attention to both their wine and beer list which was excellent to find in Hop & Vine! We were pleasantly surprised to see that on Wednesday's most wines by the bottle were half off! This led to us getting an excellent bottle of French White wine for $13 total - prices rivaling that of purchasing it in France itself. The outdoor patio was full of ample seating and we were so happy with our choice to sit outside. Service was top notch and they even have multiple game tables inside for those interested. We can't wait to return! As a bonus, parking is ample and easy for this location.

This place is amazing! The owner takes time to engage with customers, knows his beers/wines and is a genuinely nice person. Also the music is amazing and the bar is very comfortable. If you get the chance swing in. I always leave here happy!!!

If your a beer drinker and social person this is your place. There are a ton of craft beers on tap with a TV monitor explaining each one. The owner was working this night as apparently he often does. This was a real treat. He is extremely knowledgeable about the beer on tap and in general. He is happy to share his knowledge or recommend a beer that fits your palate. The also sell wine but we did not try any. As a bonus, there are table top games similar to shuffleboard that the owner and his friends created. He will gladly explain the rules and show you how to play when not serving customers. Best part, they are free to play. A man and his guitar played tunes for the patrons. This is just an all around fun place where it is easy to make new friends, possibly even with the owner

I've upgrading Hop & Vine from a previous review. Casey and the crew have been incredible during the COVID-19 restrictions. The Mon-Wed specials are AWESOME and I've loved all of the recommendations they've given so far. The Sean Minor cab was a nice surprise on the wine side of the store. I've paired that twice with "spaghetti" squash and meatballs and loved it. The hazy IPA table also gets two thumbs up from me. I love being able to discover new brews even if I have to do it alone!! Thank you H&V for being our friendly neighborhood tap house.

Loved game night! Wide selection of beer, wine and cider. Staff is very knowledgeable.

Fun! Love the game nights. Great vibe. Good variety of beverages. Great location. Wish they had ice.
