We wanted Chinese Food and this was our first try to one in the area. It was the best we have had! I am used to greasy food, but my food was absolutely fresh and tasty. I am absolutely putting them in my favorites for take out.

Ordered Chicken & Broccoli to go.Chicken was on the tough side. Rice was good.Service was good.Ambiance... The place appeared to need renovation. Inside looked old. It didn't feel or look clean, especially the bathroom.

For a small no frills Chinese you can't beat its food and prices. Convenient location downtown. Very friendly staff. Lo mien is excellent. Fresh ingredients and food is served very hot.

For 30 years I've been a patron at Hong Kong cafe. The food is great, recipes have never changed, and seemingly neither have the prices. I've moved well out of the area and upon visiting tonight I was immediately brought back to my youth. Best Chinese styled cuisine around, and great service...and the mustard is wonderfully spicy hot! Conveniently located in downtown hickory in union plaza, with plenty of street parking. Please support this local, long running establishment!
