Honeycomb Cafe

This place was busy on a Sunday morning and we had a larger party and would recommend making a reservation especially if you have a bigger party like we did. They have plenty of options and the healthy options are quite tasty as well.

Quick brunch! Love the inside of the @HONEYCOMB CAFE in the quaint small town of Belmont, NC. Very attentive staff, food comes out quick and fresh. The ambiance on the inside is impressive! Please call ahead for seating, the front area is small but there is a bigger dining area beyond that! The POTATOES ARE AMAZING! #MUSTHAVE

I had a wonderful experience at Honeycomb Café! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, the food was delicious, and the service was friendly and attentive. It's the perfect spot for a relaxing meal--I'll definitely be back!

Upon entry, you're greeted by everyone, which is nice. My biggest suggestion would be to make reservations before going. It's not a very big space, and there's always a wait time between 30 to 45 mins. Now I wasn't here for a long time but a good time because I was actually dining somewhere else close in the area. So we decided to just get a carafe of mimosas and fresh fruit. It was very refreshing. The atmosphere is very laid back, cute deco, and friendly. My servers we're amazing and so attentive that it made me most definitely want to go back and eat for sure. Also, the food that I did see others enjoying looked very appetizing.

When I say I'm glad I stopped to eat here that is an understatement!! There is parking in the back of restaurant. I parked on an unpaved parking lot and got in where I fit in. I admired the aesthetics of the restaurant from the brick accent wall to the accent walls with their logo or something pertaining to their logo really cute. Definitely ask for Issac he provided great service and took good care of me. Now the food! I wanted to slap somebody's mama! I had a mushroom hash, bread pudding French toast, and a honeycomb margarita. Everything was delicious. I'm definitely bringing my husband next time

***FOOD: lots of classic breakfast brunch favorites. Overall pretty good. CRAB CAKE BENNY - hardly any avocado & the small slice of avocado was pretty brown very unappealing. Crab cake hardly had any crab and was a little bit too mushy watery; WILD FORAGE MUSHROOM TOAST - it was OK, I felt a little bit too much balsamic vinegar and overpowered the mushroom, potato sides were OK; FRENCH TOAST side - was very good. Didn't have chai or Matcha latte. ***COST (OUT OF 4$)$$ reasonably priced Most things were $12-15. Most expensive was $20 plate.***DÉCOR: very cute decor inside, nice touches of these and honeycomb design, more seating in the back, street parking, very cute quaint little café***SERVICE: food came out fast, Busy morning server didn't really touch base with us much, ***RECOMMEND: would RECOMMEND for breakfast brunch, probably will try some else if we're in town again

Order: biscuit and gravy with 2 eggs and side of grits, single pancake with bacon, egg, and fresh fruits, and corn beef hash with wheat toast. The cafe is located in downtown Belmont; super easy to find and offers free parking in the adjacent parking lot. Inside is tight but warm and welcoming. Staff is super friendly. They must be very popular because they were packed the first time we tried to dine here and again this time. We knew to make a reservation this time around. The food service was fast! Waited probably 10 minutes for our food to arrive. Biscuit and gravy had a good flavor and seasoned well. Only downside was my biscuit wasn't crispy on the outside and a small section of it was rock hard. The grits were creamy with a good flow; not too thick, not too runny. Pancake was fluffy with a warm vanilla aroma. Fresh fruits consisted of orange slices, strawberries and blueberries; all sweet, none tart.

They have exceptional customer service, a good health sanitation score, fast service and very good food! They accept reservations but even if you don't make a reservation, you can give them your number while browsing local shops until your number has been sent a text. They told me it would be a 30 min wait but they called me in less than 20 minutes. The inside is small but they also have extra spacing in the back for larger groups. The menu is large and they're only open until 2 but this is a great spot for breakfast or brunch. Come check them out.

My mom and I visited here one Sunday morning after a flight. It was about 20 mins from the airport. It's a small but spacious cafe. The menu has delicious items. My favorites were the parfait and the French toast sandwhich!! Both were very tasty. Our waitress McKenzie was nice and helpful as well. I'm listing this place as one of my favorite breakfast spots :)

We really enjoyed the brunch at the Honeycomb Cafe! We had the french toast with bacon and the breakfast burrito. We were very satisfied with our selections...and of course we indulged in a couple of mimosas. We went on a Saturday so it was very busy, our wait was about an hour but we were able to walk around the downtown area and grab coffee down the street. It's really hard to find great brunch in Gaston County but this spot has earned its place on my list!
