Hitchcock Pub and Grill

Tasty food, especially after travelling for such a long time. Good service. Looks like the middle of nowhere and then you see a really beautiful, old town. This place is right in the middle of it.

It was ok. I went for lunch, nobody was there. Server was good. Place was super clean, even the restroom which is always a good look. So let's get to the food. Portions are small. But as I stated, I went for lunch. Fries, very good. I can tell they are homemade not the frozen crap, good look here! They reminded me of Five Giys but better actually. The burger was good but left something to desire. Maybe the burger needs an onion jam or something. It was ver basic. The bread it is on was good, I think it was a brioche bun. Now the price point is spot on, so you can't be too mad about the portions. Maybe bit was just that good I wanted more. lol. I'll be back. The only complaint I have is the salad they serve. If you're gonna serve this and call it a side salad, just don't serve it. It was about 5 bites and so basic. They put it on a plate, just put it in a bowl to help the person eat it because it was hard to eat on this plate. Oh fyi, parking on street and discovery place is across street so this was be good spot for family day.

Our first time dining here. It was AMAZING! The ribeye was the best I've ever had. No joke. Very tender, juicy and full of flavor. Every bite of our food was perfect. We will be back!

Fried pickles were great always love a good pickle spear. I had the fish and chips fried were great fish was also great. Had a side of hush puppies they were hot and crispy definitely recommend. Our waitress summer was amazing! 10/10 recommend

Great staff. Delicious food. My daughters said it is picky kid approved. Wonderful lady waitress.

Food was great, and our service was great. But I need to bring something up to management. Our waitress Kellie, who did a fine job serving us, was being belittled by her co worker "Summer" consistently throughout the duration of our meal. It was highly unprofessional and I felt terrible for our waitress who was doing absolutely nothing wrong! This lady should do better and speak to her co workers with respect.

First off .. Summer was an amazing server. Hats off to her to being incredibly patient with our large group. The bartender was so nice & helpful, all the staff were on point.. the food was fantastic! Everyone was working as a team. Although they were out of Shepards pie, but the cook went out of his way to make some more for us. Incredible service!!! Drinks were also phenomenal!If we were local we would definitely return!

Food was great as was the service. Warm and inviting pub atmosphere. Nice draft and wine selection. Hubs got the hamburger steak and I got the fish and chips. Both great. Will definitely return.

We stopped for a late lunch looking for a locally owned restaurant. The reviews were great so we visited for the first time. The food was excellent and our server was on point, glasses stayed full. I had chicken and dumplings which were delicious! My husband had country fried steak and was very tasty. We'll definitely be back.
