Solid Coffee, Slow Service I enjoy the coffee here it's flavorful and always well-made. They offer a wide variety of options too. Friendly staff, lovely mugs and yummy floral chai tea. The one downside is the slower service during peak hours, but it's understandable. Still, I'll definitely keep coming back for the coffee.

What a great little coffee shop! There are dedicated parking spaces in the church lot for Higher Grounds customers (except for Sundays), and once parked, you then follow the signage around the building to the entrance. There's ample seating, and on the Wednesday late morning that I stopped in, a smattering of folks were quietly working. The pastries are displayed along the counter, and there's also a chalkboard with their empanada offerings. I got a pineapple-stuffed pastry stick, pan de bono (cheese bread), and guava & cheese empanada to go with our iced brown sugar cinnamon latte & iced vanilla latte (both with oat milk). I love the tropical/Colombian touches to the food offerings, and they were all delish! I especially enjoyed the empanada since it was served hot with a flaky crust and perfect amount of filling. Highly recommend coming in if you're in the area and looking for a caffeine + sweet treat boost!

This is my new favorite coffee shop spot in Myers Park!Run by Manolo from Manolo's Bakery and located inside the Myers Park United Methodist Church, this Higher Grounds coffee shop is pretty cool and sophisticated with lots of space to hang hout and pieces of art all around. There is plenty of free parking. The menu has the basic cold and hot coffee and tea options, gelato and some pastries with a Latin flavor. My wife and I ordered lattes and empanadas, and the were really good.The service is good and the overall experience was positive. Overall, 100% recommended.

This is such a fantastic addition to the neighborhood!! Amazing coffee, wonderful service and several gluten and dairy free gelato and pastry offerings!!!!!

Great atmosphere. Lots of friendly people. Good wifi. Fantastic pastries/baked goods. The surprise is that they serve some of the best coffee in town. Unbelievable. Strongly recommend checking them out. You'll come back. I did.

Wow! What an exciting new addition to Myers Park. We ordered a cappuccino with almond milk and it was perfectly made and delicious. Our caramel latte was also 5-Star. They also have gelato and will make an affogato! Lots of pastries as well. Prices are typical of any other coffee shop. This place is brand new and very clean. Highly recommend!
