They have the best prices and their store is nicely setup. The associates know what they're selling and always suggest sales to you. They have cool music playing always too. Cashiers are usually jamming while ringing you up :)

Buyer Beware: I absolutely loved the store before today. I constantly bragged on the specials and prices. I encouraged all my friends and colleagues to go and see this store before going to any "Vape-only" store locally owned.Yesterday, November 29th 2017 I walked into the store and asked the salesperson after he was free'd up from the small group of guys standing in front of the Vape Bar if I could get a box (5 coils) Cleito 120 coils. He proceeded to get them and had told me the Juices in the bottom shelf were 75% off so I picked one up, and walked to the register. I then I paid and left, with my single sealed coils (not in the small 5 pack box) and juice in a brown paper bag. I was never given the opportunity to inspect the contents of my purchase until after I paid - assuming all of my items that I had asked for were correct, like they have been in the past. When I got home (20+ Miles away) I took apart my tank, and got the coils out of my brown bag that the salesperson had given me to discover the coils were NOT what I asked for. I then put all of the coils back into the bag with my receipt and set it aside, hoping to return the next day to explain the situation and exchange the coils and pay the difference if need be for the proper coils for my tank.Today, November 30th 2017 I walked into the shop and there wasn't a crowd in front of the Vape Bar, and I was excited to see the same salesperson to help me with their mistake, and explain the situation and hopefully exchange the coils or pay the difference if needed. Halfway through explaining what had happened, arrogantly he pulls out some beaten up laminated paper stating that they had a "No-Return" policy and that it had started in August. Please be reminded, this paper that everyone should read was on top of a folder that was previously crowded around of by a group of guys the day before at the bar. Upon further inspection there was no other sign in the store to warn buyers their purchases were final. - But this wasn't a return, it was an exchange because the salesperson's error.I repeat, THIS WAS THE SALESPERSON'S ERROR.I told him I understand that there was a no-return policy, but that I was NOT returning the items but exchanging them because of HIS error, not mine, and they they were in perfect condition still sealed and with receipt for proof of purchase. He then proceeded to act like there was nothing he could do and he had not the slightest bit of give a shit- and that it was my problem now.Be aware of the decline of customer service at High Life of Hickory, and now I am out $30 and a bag full of coils I don't have a tank for. I will absolutely never return to your store, and I will make sure to tell people what I think about your staff - if they ask me.

Bought a mod and while looking at it low battery came up on screen. Salesman changed battery and it worked. Got it home and it did the same thing. Returned it to store the next day and he said all sales were final! Did nothing to help me. Had to drive to Statesville Mad Vapes to get it resolved since they are a distributor. Definitely would NOT recommend this store!!! They knew something was wrong with that mod.

So every time I come to Hickory I come by to grab a few things. Tonight was the worst ever, got to store at 8:57, guy was cleaning floors and rushed to door to lock so we couldn't come in. Didn't even acknowledge us, then walked backed laughing with the other employee. Then when we knocked on door acted like an a-hole. Would never recommend this place, as it isn't much to do in Hickory as it is, will just buy from one of the crappy gas stations and save my money!

I hate this store. I've gone in multiple times and been given horrible , grotesque recommendations that don't have any truth to them. I'm poor. I have no money. And I can't tell you how many times I've been sold the wrong product, being told it's what I'm looking for man. I can't keep waisting money. And don't even try and ask for a swap out or refund. They. Don't. Care. They bow down to their cooperate god and don't look at you as a person. They'll immediately become defensive and act insulted that you're questioning their words and advice. Again, I'm poor and this company keeps, time and time again, waiting my money. Good job corporate satan.
