I've been to the Heritage House as a guest/attendee a few times - for events both grand and simple - and nothing ever seemed out of place. Easy to find heading east from the interstate on Plaza Drive / Hwy 150, less than a mile after the bend and set back a little from the street. Big fountain up front (which may or may not be gurgling) and plenty of parking in a lot shared with the funeral home around back.The facility itself is clean, simple, and medium fancy; suitable for quiet dignified affairs but easily dressed up for elegance or extravagance and there's a patio around the fountain if the weather is agreeable, also has a large canopied entrance fronting a foyer if the weather turns foul.The kitchen is equipped with coolers, heaters, ice machine and dish washer to handle your food service needs. Last time in was for an anniversary party seating 100+ people plus a two-line buffet with space enough for dancing and cavorting into the evening. I can't say as how I cared much for the music selection but that's more on the hostess than the facility.

We live in the Charlotte area and needed a venue for our Wedding Ceremony and Reception. We were looking for an Elegant venue to accommodate our over 150 guests for a reasonable rate. We found The Heritage House via google. Our first contact was with a very pleasant woman named Andrea. She answered every question I had without rushing me and then offered a tour of the event space. The Venue was very easy to locate and looked nice from the outside with a big fountain out front Perfect for pictures. When we first walked in the building it smelt and looked very clean(which was very important to me). Andrea was as pleasant in person as on the phone and everything she said about the space was accurate from the big screen TVs and kitchen to a sound system and other modern amenities. So LOVED hanging out today with the Ladies of Heritage House! This venue ROCKS with a clean environment, beautiful view with the windows/doors displaying a very pretty water fountain amidst a nice sitting area for causal and fancy affairs! -Never have I received more personal and professional direction in getting us set up and prepared for our JOB FAIR. Our family reunion banquet was held here 7/14/18. They staff and venue were phenomenal! Service was amazing. They were such friendly people and had everything you could need stocked in the kitchen cabinets and drawers. Bathrooms were nice and clean. BEAUTIFUL FURNITURE in the lobby. The fountain was beautiful. They had a beautiful graphic with the name of our reunion in our colors on the large monitors. Our Tables and chairs were set up before we arrived. I have nothing but great things to say about this venue. It is a short drive from Charlotte but TOTALLY worth it!!!!!!!!
