The carousel itself is fine (located in the food court at Concord Mills Mall, Concord, NC). The customer service on the other hand was horrific. My friend and I met at the mall with our 5 and 6 year olds for a quick Veterans Day play date. After we left Books-A-Million and had a quick bite at Firehouse Sub, our kids wanted to get on the carousel. We inquired about the price and were met with an eye roll and annoyed head nod to our question of "is the carousel $3 dollars per person?" Due to the fact that my 5 year old has some sensory sentivity I also asked whether I would need to pay just to stand next to her (for her safety as well as to keep her calm) while she rode the carousel. Again I was met with an angry attitude in and angry tone, saying, "you still have to pay". Since the kids still wanted to ride, we paid for the three of us and boarded when we were instructed. I rode the carousel next to big children. My friends son was so excited that each time the zebra he was on went up and down he imitated it's movements with his own body (going up and down all while strapped in and holding on). The employee quickly ruined his excitement by yelling at him "aye, sit down!" Although one could argue it was for his safety, we could also argue that she could've said it differently. She also crushed his excitement for the remainder of the ride. Once we got off I learned from another customer that she rode with her child and only paid for her child. So I inquired whether there were special circumstances that applied. The employee responded with what I now deeming is her usual personality. Again filled with anger and attitude she says (while pointing and yelling in the direction of my 5 year old), "your child has to be under 42 inches to ride with an adult" I tied to explain that my child had a unique situation as to why I needed to ride along with her. Trying to deescalate I calmly asked if there was something I was doing that was causing her to react so angrily and yell. Which was only met by more yelling, stating that she, "doesn't have time for this because she has customers". I remind her that I was a customer too and agreed to not waste anymore of her time if she would give me the contact info of her manager. She yelled "I can call the manager for you". I explained that wouldn't be necessary and that I would prefer to do it myself. She then told me that I would have to wait. So without a choice I waited while she attended to a line of customers finally turning to me scribbling a random number on a receipt paper without a name and slamming it down in front of me on the counter. I asked her what was the managers name and she ignored me. Then I asked her what she name was and to which she replied, "don't worry about my name". I did however make note of the date and time of the incident (Nov 10th, 2017 at 4:19pm). I demand this woman be relieved of this position as she is clearly unfit for such a high traffic customer service position. I did not pay to be verbally abused in front of an audience and my child.

Hey! Time for merry go round :)I have been taking my daughter and my nieces as well as all the kids from my friends and extended family every time they visit my place. Kids just love going here and I remember one time my toddler took rides three times and she still wanted to keep going but I called it out. I will also admit, it's pretty cool even for adults LOL If you are single parent like me, you may even find another beautiful single parent or really charming guy like myself :D If you have more kids or if you want to go there often, I think they have a deal where you pay for 10 rides and you get 12 ride tickets (pre-paid card). All in all, I think it's in perfect spot in concord mills, centered in side food court and their service is with big smile on their face most of the time. Note: They ONLY take CASH.
