Hendrix Barbecue

I will start off by saying the BBQ half chicken was really good. Both the white and red slaw also pretty good. Chopped bbq was decent but nothing i would go out of my way for. The sauce/dip was awesome so that really helped.Burger i had today wasn't great. Soggy bun wilted lettuce and not much flavor all around. Fries seemed like they would be really good if they were fresh but mine were cold and had a strange texture. The seasoning was perfect though so i still ate them ‍ Service was excellent the whole wait staff seemed very genuine and on their game. Prices were reasonable as well and the food came out pretty quick. Would definitely go back but stick with the chicken!

Hendrix BBQ is a staple in the area! Would definitely recommend them! Quality food & great service!

I love this place, every time I'm in the area I make sure I stop by, the food is great and the staff is quick to take your order and get your food out fast, I usually have a BBQ sandwich. But I've and the bbq salad, chicken plate and bbq plate as well.

We were in Spenser for the train. We saw this place at lunch and it was slammed. We stopped in at 3PM for linner between lunch and dinner. You seat yourself and start looking at the menu - we were hungry so everything looked good. We had a pile of food for $50 plus tip. Food is all on point - banana pudding is yum. Cool decor - clean tables - nice service - quick food after ordering - everything was correct and tasted good. Bbq chicken, wings, fries, hotdogs, coleslaw - that yummy crushed ice in your cheerwine. Wish this place was closer - pics of food included. Everything hit the spot and left us wanting another visit. Pleasant on the pocketbook too. Sweet.

The food was great 8/10, and the Service is kind and Friendly. "It is a Pay then go at end of Meal". They do Serve Breakfast and Serve BBQ in the Afternoon. I Would Recommend it to anyone that Needs a Break from Driving!

Stopped here for a late lunch. The wife and I both had the BBQ Salad. It was a great choice! Salad took up the whole plate and there was plenty of BBQ on top of it. The hush puppies were also awesome. We were waited on quickly and the waitress was very attentive. I do not get to the Salisbury area very often but I will go back when I do!

Who doesn't like funnel cake? These "fries" were great. The bbq was solid, but I didn't care for the slaw. Wait staff was amazing and the prices were really cheap.

First time there and it was really delicious! The bbq sandwich and fries with seasoning is what we all ordered and definitely recommend that to get! The sweet tea was perfection (I mean the menu said they sell it by the gallon ‍ can't go wrong there)! Our waitress was great and very friendly/ helpful for first timers! Definitely will back again!

One of the BEST places to eat in the area! Great BBQ and their breakfast is amazing and affordable. We've made it a family tradition every Sunday for the past couple years to eat breakfast here and are never disappointed...and the staff are fantastic!
