I don't know why I didn't review this spot sooner!! We have been coming here for quite some time now and it is one of our absolute favorite spots!! The chicken is always so juicy and cooked perfectly, the employees are so friendly, yum.. (We might just have to go there today for lunch)The menu offers a variety of heat levels, so whether you're a spice lover or prefer something milder, there's an option that suits you.The chicken itself is crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor that keeps you coming back for more. The heat is no joke, but it's the perfect balance of fiery and flavorful, making each bite more delicious than the last. The sides, like the mac and cheese and fries, are the perfect complement, and the hospitality is top-notch.Service is always friendly and quick, and the atmosphere is casual yet inviting. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or dining in with friends, Helen's Hot Chicken delivers every time. It was okay, not the best experience... The building was Smokey and smelled of old grease. The food was okay, the portions are good and the prices are fair. I understand everyone has a bad day, so I will give them a second chance... Best Regards, E. Mars

4.5 STARS!!I entered to a smiling face! The young lady greeted me with a smile. And was very customer oriented! She gave me the run down when I informed her it was my first time. She gave me customer favorites and her personal favorite! I got the single piece of catfish and wingettes hot honey lemon pepper!! They were hot and fresh (cooked to order)! The taste was amazing! Finger licking good! Fish was crispy and just the right amount of sauce on it.Only knock off was the young man that gave my food when I came to pick it up. He wasn't rude or anything he just wasn't polite! Overall I'll BE BACK!!! Food:9.3/10Customer service: 9/10

I was working as a Door Dasher, and had a pick-up from Helen's. I will need to try it for myself when I have the time. The menu looked good, and it smelled delicious in there while I was waiting for the order to be completed.

I've been spending some time in Rock Hill and deceived to look on TikTok for some food recommendations. Helen's was the first thing that popped up. We were not disappointed. The food was piping hot and super crispy. We ordered the Wednesday chicken basket special For 8.99 (the fries were tasty) and a chicken breast sandwich with baked beans. The food was so good! Everything is made to order so there is a little wait. I noticed a lot of people called ahead so maybe do that if you're not one to do a lot of waiting around. The owner was friendly and took time to come over and speak to us. She did let us know about their new summer hours, new Sunday brunch and overall where they are trying to take the business. It's definitely a good space for brunch vibes as you can vibe to the music being played in the background. Ya'll Rockhill folks come out and get you some crispy hot chicken!

1st timer , drove by many times , was extremely satisfied. Friend staff greeted us as we walked in and explained the made to order fresh chicken. The chicken tenders were very large and juicy, they even made 1 of the 3 I bit spicier for us to try the heat.No need to try a chain restaurant. Give them your business you will Definitely enjoy the food.

This has been me and my wife's go-to spot lately. We've ordered through DoorDash at least 1-2/week for a month and have gone in and get it to-go once. The chicken has been able to stay crispy each time. We've tried it plain, mild, hot, and lemon pepper mild - they have all been delicious. These are the two semi-negative things that I have to say, mind you it has never stopped us from ordering from there. First, the heat level is never consistent. You can get mild each time you order and it will be extremely spicy. You can get hot another day and won't get any heat. It's like playing Russian roulette with spice. Secondly, there is always a long wait time whether you're ordering through DoorDash or picking up in person. When I came in, I walked right up and ordered, I was told it would be about 25-30 minutes, it ended up being more like 45 minutes. We don't mind the wait, we love their chicken that much!

Haven't actually been inside here so my review is strictly on the food which me and my wife have had a couple times. We just keep it simple and get their chicken sandwich combo. I gotta say these guys know how to make a delicious chicken sandwich. We got the hot honey and it was so juicy and bursting with flavor. Fries are also very seasoned. Def worth a try!

Best chicken best seafood best people hands-down if you haven't been here yet you missing out. I've never been disappointed. I drive all the way from Mint Hill, and it slap every time.
