Heist Brewery and Barrel Arts

I had so much fun here at the Heist! The bartenders were so helpful being that it was my first time here and also my first time trying IPAs. The wings were delicious and cooked just right! The burrata with balsamic was a great starter. The pizza was my favorite dish perfectly cooked with a beautiful crust cooked in a coal fire oven. The IPAs I tried have me hooked on IPAs now haha! The service was wonderful and the ambiance and patrons were super cool. I can't wait to go back! :)

Great beer, solid food menu, cool hang out space. When I first arrived with my large group of friends, we almost had to turn right around because we came with a couple of small dogs and there was a sign on the door that said no dogs indoors. It was pretty hot and we specifically chose this brewery because they were advertised as dog friendly.However, after talking to the staff, we found out that we could make our dog situation workable and were able to come in. They had a large menu of beer brewed in house. Everyone in my group enjoyed all of the beer they had, while I stuck to seltzers. In addition to the seltzer, I got the pretzel and cheese appetizer. There was more than enough to share, and it was absolutely fantastic.This brewery needs to restock their merch a bit, because my group wanted to buy some, but a lot of the options were limited. Also, it would be helpful if they got some more comfortable seating options. We ended up at a long and slightly awkward picnic table style seating option indoors. It was okay though!The vibes were good and everyone in the space seemed happy. I absolutely loved the food and the drinks were solid too. I'd definitely check them out again.

Definitely one of my go to when and in town, their beers are delicious.Their staff are very attentive and always on point, and their pizzas are soooo good. And the place is very nice and love their outdoors.

This was a cool brewery in the downtown Charlotte area. I was in town for a concert with friends and we stopped in to check it out. Outside in the parking lot they were having a craft style event, while inside they had a special tattoo booth set up. It was really quite large both inside and out. The staff there were extremely friendly and the beer was nice and crispy.

I am never disappointed with my experience at Heist Brewery! We are excited about the reopening of the main location, but we visit Barrel Arts at least once per month.

I stopped in here just to grab a beer and relax for a few minutes, but I walked into a gem! I had a flight that included a peach and a honey wheat beer and they were amazing! The snackies hit me so I ordered some nachos and holy moly, they were delicious. Im always picky about my nachos because I don't want to end up with a bunch of barren chips in the middle, but they were plates with the cheesy goodness all throughout. I counted 9 tvs playing the games as well as TNT channel for those lot so much into sports. The atmosphere is great, it reminds me of an old warehouse turned into a brewery. Art by JEKS was an added bonus!!The beer menu was extensive with everything from lagers to wheat beers to ciders. I got a flight of 4 and loved them all. I'll be trying another flight before I leave here!!Lots of seating, whether you like a picnic table, high tops, lounge chairs or Adirondack chairs. Also lots of outdoor seating. Highly recommend stopping here if you are in Charlotte!!!

Such a wide variety of beer and they are very good! I ordered a flight to include Ancient Feelings, into to earth, kolsch, and tropiquench. By far the Ancient was my favorite IPA because I like the clear west coast. Very crisp. The Tropiquench was my second favorite because it was like an IPA mimosa with passion fruit. I also ordered nachos as a snack. When they came I was very pleased. Layers of toppings to the bottom! The chips were very crunchy topped with cheese, lettuce, pico, sour cream, jalapeño, and queso. It was hard to decide what we wanted on the food menu because everything looked amazing. They offer appetizers and Pizzas! The inside is very artsy with a huge painting of Clint Eastwood. They have a nice outdoor area with stage for outdoor events. It was raining when we came so we didn't get to enjoy the outside. Staff was super nice and helpful in selecting beers.

Had a vending event here so decided to try out their food. Order the Il Fugeo pizza without bacon. It's pretty good. It's like a buffalo chicken pizza. Also order the Bianca to go and that one is good as well. Enjoyed some beer while I waited, Dollar Dollar Bill Y'all.

Beer Cheese and Pretzel Bite ratio is way off. Asked for more Pretzel Bites to finish the beer cheese. They charged $4 for them....and they took 15min to come out which means my beer cheese was rock solid and cold at that point.

Great beer. Great pizza. Overall great vibes. Would highly recommend for a nice afternoon out and about in Charlotte.
