Great course layout. Greens are a bit slow depending on when they cut them, but they are in good shape. Views are very nice as well.

The last time I played this course was in 1999. It was somewhat new at the time and built on re-claimed property from a land fill.The only hole I remembered was #9, over the Grand Canyon and up a massive hill. The tee box is lower down the hill so you are staring up this hill with no possible way to see over the hill or the flag stick on the green.I was most impressed by the driving range and practice area for chipping and putting. Nearly every course I have gone to in the CLT area is challenged to keep real grass growing on the driving range but not this place.Over all this course is about what you would expect for a Charlotte area public course. The tee boxes are in decent shape, the fairways are spotty with some grass and bare spots. If you have not played a course before, I find there is sometimes a challenge getting on the correct cart path from green to tee. Same for this course, the paths are not well marked.What I found exceptional was the condition of the greens. Not a single bare spot on any of the 18 greens. All well cared for and rolling true.The cart paths are a disaster. There are quite a few blind shots, up hills and severe dog legs. There is a fair amount of water and you'll be punished for missing the fairways,I highly recommend the Perks + passport for affordable golf. There are 5 CLT area golf courses that will offer you discount golf and added discount if you are a Senior. I played 18 holes with a cart for $34.00 bucks.Even though they have a dining room and kitchen, it remains closed due to COVID.If you're distracted by the sound of gunfire, you might want to avoid this course as there is a nearby shooting range.

Challenging course that's still a bit forgiving. Great layout and the new greens (2 yrs ago) are in wonderful shape. I've never encountered a problem with the pace of play. Friendly service. Great track for the price.

I was surprised when I came and played first time today. The reviews are pretty bad, but I thought the course was a great deal for the money. I joined the Perks+ for seniors and can play 18 with cart for 22.00 on M-Th. The greens were slow but in good condition. My biggest complaint is the cart paths- they all need to be re-paved. The Lay-out is actually pretty challenging and I enjoyed. Again not a premium course but a good deal for the money.

I have played on some bad courses before but none worse than this.Although the greens had recently been punched you can tell they were bare and suffered from year-round maintenance.While in the fairways our foursome had great fun guessing which weeds we were hitting off of. This course lacks grass of any type

This course had been one of my favorites in Charlotte over the past 15 years. It has a very fun layout and is responsibly priced. It's never been in the best condition, but given the price, it was a good value. I played this past Friday, Oct 2, and it was in the worst condition of any course I've ever played. I could barely tell where the fairway/rough ended and the greens began. Whoever is responsible for allowing this gem to fall into such horrible condition should be sent packing. I hope the course is brought back into playable condition soon.

As a new golfer, I found the course to be challenging, but the layout was forgiving and pace of play was good. The course was well maintained but the cart path could use some upgrading. Good deal for the cost.

Just the course was great. But the customer service was awful... we played 36 holes and booked back to back tee times. When we payed for the first we were told that the replay rate is a 9 hole waking. When we went to play our second round we were charged full price. When we asked why he rudely said "ok what's the replay rate" and when we told what we were told earlier he responded I misspoke sometimes that happens. Very rude no apology for the misunderstanding nothing

I just wish I would have taken 5 minutes to read the reviews on this course before I spent $30 for 9-holes. I get it. Courses aren't in their best shape during the winter. But this place is absolutely horrendous. Patches all over the green. Pretty much every green. The carts barely have enough power to make it up the hill. The cart path is missing patches of asphalt, making for a surprise when you hit the dip. This place has a GREAT layout and a lot of potential being close to the heart of Charlotte.The ownership should be absolutely be ashamed of themselves for the poor quality of this golf course.

Horrible condition. Rates not equal to course upkeep. Would not recommend. Driving range was alright though.
